NEW YORK, March 9, 2017 - Comedy Central breaks the mold with the intergalactic late night talk show The Gorburger Show, premiering on Sunday, April 9 at Midnight ET/PT. The Gorburger Show features a giant blue extra-terrestrial (voiced by T.J. Miller, Silicon Valley) who, after invading a Japanese television variety show and enslaving its staff, settles in as host in an attempt to understand what it means to be human. The Gorburger Show features celebrity interviews, musical guests, strange games and other random happenings. Guests include Rob Corddry, Larry King, Tig Notaro, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Reggie Watts and more.

The Gorburger Show is executive produced by T.J. Miller, who voices and puppets the title character. The show is created by the Director Brothers (Ryan McNeely and Josh Martin) who also write, direct, and executive produce the series. The eight-episode season is executive produced by Sean Boyle for Funny Or Die and produced by Caviar. Ian Friedman, Rachel Olson and Kellyn Parker are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.

The Gorburger Show previously produced 19 episodes over two seasons as a Funny Or Die digital series (watch trailer here: Gorburger Season Two Trailer). It is the latest Comedy Central series to migrate from its origins as short-form to long-form, joining a growing roster that includes: Drunk History, Broad City, Workaholics, Idiotsitter, Jeff & Some Aliens, This Is Not Happening and the upcoming Hood Adjacent, which premieres this summer and stars James Davis, who was introduced to Comedy Central fans via his Snapchat original series on Comedy Central's Discover channel.

The Gorburger Show will share the unique world of Gorburger with fans via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and on Comedy Central's channel on Snapchat Discover. The Gorburger Show will produce digital exclusives, share behind-the-scenes content and offer weekly sneak peek and highlight clips across the show's social platforms and on cc.com and YouTube.

Episodes of The Gorburger Show will also be available via cc.com on the day each new episode premieres to fans who authenticate via their cable or satellite provider, as well as via the Comedy Central App. In addition, they'll be available the day after air on iTunes, Amazon Video, VUDU, Microsoft Movies & TV, Verizon Multi-Screen, Google Play, Frontier Communications and Sony Interactive Entertainment.
