FRIENDS (HBO Max) - WarnerMedia's reunion special for the series will not be ready in time for its streaming service's May launch. Filming will being once the industry's current production shutdown ends. (Deadline.com)
GREASE: RYDELL HIGH (HBO Max) - Annabel Oakes has been tapped to spearhead the proposed TV series inspired by the iconic 1978 film. Set in and around the world of Rydell High, the show reimagines the global smash hit movie with characters old and new. She'll pen the debut installment as well as executive produce the series. NBC Will Now Offer a Special Premiere of "The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins" on Sunday, Jan. 18 Immediately Following Coverage of the NFL Playoff Game
The series will return on Monday, February 23 at 8 p.m. with an encore of the pilot and a new episode immediately following at 8:30 p.m. in its timeslot premiere.
