GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, THE (Amazon, New!) - Stieg Larsson's literary-turned-feature heroine Lisbeth Salander is being targeted for the small screen at the streaming service. The project, set up at Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios, "will not be a sequel or continuation of the story from the books or the films," rather "will instead take Salander and place her in today's world with a wholly new setting, new characters, and a new story."
