DEMONETIZED, BUT NOT GONE.

FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS NEXT TO CONTROVERSIAL YOUTUBER ONISION IN A BONUS EPISODE OF THE DISCOVERY+ SERIES "ONISION: IN REAL LIFE - SARAH SPEAKS"

- The Exclusive New Episode Will be Available to Stream on discovery+ Starting Thursday, May 27th -

(Los Angeles, Ca.) - Just one day after the release of the third episode of the discovery+ original ONISION: IN REAL LIFE, Greg "Onision" Jackson was demonetized by YouTube for his off-platform behavior relating to child safety. This action is rare, and it temporarily halted Jackson's career as an income-generating content creator on YouTube. The move sent shockwaves throughout the YouTube community, with the debate raging over whether the action was too little, or too much. Though swirling in a sea of allegations about underage grooming and predatory behavior, as of May 2021, Jackson has not been charged with any crimes, and maintains both his innocence and a social media presence across many popular platforms. The original documentary questioned the boundaries of behavior on the internet and explored just who is responsible for regulating that, especially when it comes to children. It's the conversation the whole world is having and it continues even more explosively in episode four of ONISION: IN REAL LIFE.

Now, the youngest alleged victim of Greg and his spouse, Kai, who remained anonymous in the first three episodes, has bravely decided to step forward and publicly share her own story in this new chapter of the story, SARAH SPEAKS. In a candid one-on-one interview, Sarah bares it all, revealing the harrowing five-year relationship she endured with Greg and Kai, beginning when she was just 14-years-old. Viewers will witness Sarah's story as it played out online, and watch how effortlessly her internet world seamed together with her real world in the eye-opening bonus episode ONISION: IN REAL LIFE - SARAH SPEAKS, which streams on discovery+ beginning Thursday, May 27th.

Sarah's story has been told, co-opted, and publicized across the internet. Now, it's her turn to tell her story in SARAH SPEAKS. Sarah became a fan of Onision as a 12-year-old, and began interacting with Kai on social media when she was just 14. By the time she was 15, Greg and Kai invited Sarah to their home in Washington, and when she turned 16, Sarah's mother signed over power of attorney to Kai, and Sarah moved in with them. For years, a tumultuous relationship with the couple ensued, during which she lived in their home at various times. In her own words, she claims "I was just like a toy for them." After she finally left their house in 2019 at age 19, Sarah publicly alleged years of grooming, inappropriate sexual behavior and abuse that she claims shook her to her core and changed her life forever. The story snowballed across multiple famous YouTube channels, and Sarah's story gained unprecedented exposure - for better and for worse.

As Sarah's story gained traction, Onision responded by denying her allegations categorically and turned the tables, insisting Sarah had raped both him and Kai. This shocking hour weaves a complex story using interviews with online experts, Greg's family, and with Sarah herself. New allegations will be revealed, and raise questions about how to address destructive online and offline behavior for content creators on the internet.

ONISION: IN REAL LIFE - SARAH SPEAKS encourages viewers who have experienced online grooming or predatory behavior, to contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST, or report it to the CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.

ONISION: IN REAL LIFE is produced for discovery+ by Blackfin. Executive Producers for Blackfin are Geno McDermott and Grace Miller. For discovery+, Liz Massie is Senior Executive Producer.
