AND JUST LIKE THAT... (HBO Max) - Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker and Karen Pittman will recur on the "Sex and the City" sequel series. Choudhury will play Seema Patel, "a single, self-made powerhouse Manhattan real estate broker"; with Parker as Lisa Todd Wexley, "a Park Avenue mother of three and documentarian"; and Pittman as Dr. Nya Wallace, "a brilliant, challenging Columbia Law professor." DANGEROUS MOMS/MONARCH (NBC/FOX) - Jason Ensler has been tapped to direct and executive produce both pilots, which will film back-to-back in Atlanta. (Deadline.com)
DOLLFACE (Hulu) - Lilly Singh will recur on the upcoming season as Liv, "a queer bar owner with a confident sense of humor, who explores both a relationship and a business venture with Stella (Shay Mitchell)." (THR.com)

PEARL (Netflix, New!) - Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is developing a new animated series for the streamer which "centers on the adventures of a 12-year-old girl who finds inspiration in a variety of influential women throughout history." David Furnish, Carolyn Soper, Liz Garbus, Dan Cogan and showrunner Amanda Rynda also serve as executive producers for Markle and Prince Harry's Archewell Productions. (Deadline.com)
WAY DOWN, THE (HBO Max, New!) - The streamer will roll out the first three episodes of a new five-part docuseries, about the controversial Remnant Fellowship Church and its founder, on September 30. The project, which "explores how the late Gwen Shamblin Lara, who created the Christian weight loss program "The Weigh Down Workshop," rose to fame as a diet guru and church leader," will then conclude with two episodes in 2022. Director Marina Zenovich, Nile Cappello, Ross Dinerstein, Luke Dillon and Chrissy Teigen are the executive producers with P.G. Morgan, Rebecca Evans and Ross Girard serving as co-executive producers.
