BLUMHOUSE FILM SERIES (Epix) - Zach Gilford, Amanda Crew, Alisha Wainwright, Carlos Santos and newcomers Briella Guiza and David Mattle are set to star in the upcoming installment "There's Something Wrong With the Children," from director Roxanne Benjamin and writers T.J. Cimfel & David White. The logline is as follows: "Margaret (Wainwright) and Ben (Gilford) take a weekend trip with longtime friends Ellie (Crew) and Thomas (Santos) and their two young children (Guiza and Mattle). Eventually, Ben begins to suspect something supernatural is occurring when the kids behave strangely after disappearing into the woods overnight." (Variety.com)
CROWN, THE (Netflix) - Newcomer Senan West, the real-life son of Dominic West, has been cast as Prince William in the show's fifth season. Dominic West and Elizabeth Debicki were previously tapped to play Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales, during said season. (Variety.com)
HELLO TOMORROW! (Apple) - Two-time Oscar nominee Jacki Weaver has been cast in the Billy Crudup-led newcomer as Barbara Billings, "Jack's caustic and manipulative mother." (Deadline.com)
ONCE UPON A TIME IN AZTLAN (Amazon) - Arianna Williams and Jimmy Gonzales are the latest bound for the drama pilot. Arianna portrays Angela, "a Gen-Z Afro Latina, who is described as fiercely independent, confident, and always adapting." Gonzales then stars as "the morally compromised Hector, whose pursuit of 'get rich or die trying' dreams landed his partner Arturo Duran in prison for thirteen years." (Deadline.com)
PROMISED LAND (ABC) - Creator Matt Lopez has signed a multi-year overall deal with ABC Signature, home to his upcoming drama at the Alphabet. (Deadline.com)
SINNER, THE (USA) - The cable channel has pulled the plug on the Bill Pullman-led anthology series after four seasons. Its final episode airs December 1. (Deadline.com)
