CINDY SNOW (FOX) - Steve Yockey's single-camera comedy is nearing a straight-to-series order following its spotlight during the network's upfront presentation earlier today. The project is "under a lower-cost model, with the goal to film the show for about $2.2 million an episode, likely in Atlanta." Also mentioned by name were Michelle Nader's "The DL" and a series from D.L. Hughley. (Deadline.com)
JODIE (Comedy Central) - The "Daria" spin-off series from MTV Entertainment Studios is being reformatted as an animated film for a yet-to-be-revealed network in the Paramount Global ecosystem. WE THOUGHT WE WERE DONE (NBC, New!) - Jon Cryer is in talks to star in a proposed multi-cam comedy pilot for the network in which "after an amicable divorce, Jim and Julia decide to continue to raise their kids at the family home while taking turns on who gets to stay with them. Navigating the waters of divorce and child-sharing gets more complicated for Jim when the owner of his favorite sports team enters the picture and wins Julia's heart." Mike O'Malley is behind the project with Tom Werner, Wyc Grousbeck, Emilia Fazzalari, and George Geyer also executive producing for Lionsgate Television. (Variety.com)
