It's Draft Season: 2022 NBA Draft Presented by State Farm on ESPN and ABC

The 2022 NBA Draft Presented by State Farm will emanate from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. - home of the Brooklyn Nets - on Thursday, June 23, at 8 p.m. ET. The annual post-NBA Finals event will include broadcasts on ESPN and ABC. This marks ESPN's 20th consecutive year of televising the NBA Draft, dating back to 2003.

ESPN main set

For the first time, Malika Andrews will serve as host of the NBA Draft on ESPN. She will be joined by college basketball analyst Jay Bilas, NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins, senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski and NBA Draft analysts Bobby Marks and Mike Schmitz on the main set. Both rounds of the NBA Draft will air on ESPN.

In addition, Andrews hosts the NBA Draft Lottery telecast on Tuesday, May 17, at 8 p.m. on ESPN, prior to Game 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. She also hosts NBA Today from the NBA Draft Combine at 3 p.m. on ESPN during the week of May 16. NBA Today will air on site at the NBA Draft on June 23 as well.

ABC main set

For the second consecutive year, ABC will broadcast the first round of the NBA Draft. Kevin Negandhi returns as the host and will be joined by analysts, Stephen A. Smith, Chiney Ogwumike and Jalen Rose. Monica McNutt will serve as the event reporter and conduct interviews with draftees upon their selection.

Red carpet show

Prior to the NBA Draft on ESPN, Cassidy Hubbarth will host a special red carpet pregame show from 5-6 p.m. The ESPN NBA host and reporter will be joined by analysts Kendrick Perkins and Richard Jefferson to preview the event and interview the potential draftees, team personnel and celebrities that appear.
