After a man is found stabbed and burned alive in his Colorado Springs apartment, Lt. Joe Kenda and his team find themselves at a standstill. But when a string of unexplained murders begins to plague the community, Kenda uncovers a similarity between the crime scenes that launches a 100-mile-wide manhunt. The two-hour special, HOMICIDE HUNTER: DEVIL IN THE MOUNTAINS presents a career-defining case that brought Lt. Kenda face to face with the rarest and deadliest of violent killers - his one and only serial killer case. HOMICIDE HUNTER: DEVIL IN THE MOUNTAINS premieres on ID on Sunday, November 27 from 9-11PM ET/PT on ID and streams the same day on discovery+.

With a photographic memory and no-nonsense demeanor, Lt. Joe Kenda captivates viewers with stories of murder cases he solved throughout his 23-year-long career on the hit ID series HOMICIDE HUNTER. Now, ID brings fans an extension of the popular franchise with a trilogy of premium specials where Kenda leads viewers through labyrinthine cases that have plagued him for years. HOMICIDE HUNTER: DEVIL IN THE MOUNTAINS is the second installment, following the August premiere of NEVER GIVE UP which is available to stream now on discovery+. The third special will premiere in 2023 on ID.

Lt. Joe Kenda, a 23-year Colorado Springs Police Department veteran, spent 21 years chasing killers as a homicide detective and commander of the major crimes unit. Kenda and his team solved 356 of his 387 homicide cases, getting a 92 percent solve rate - one of the highest in the country. After retiring from law enforcement, he starred in "Homicide Hunter: Lt.
