CROSS (Amazon) - The James Patterson adaptation has cast Alona Tal as Kayla Craig, "a brilliant, determined, and abrasive FBI agent with a sharp sense of humor who aims to recruit Cross into the bureau... and possibly her bed"; Johnny Ray Gill as Bobby Trey, "a Louisiana native whose diesel engine is always running, Johnny is an ex-police officer who now works for Ed Ramsey (Ryan Eggold)"; and Eloise Mumford as Shannon Witmer, a "smart, witty, and resourceful, as well as a frustrated dreamer with artistic aspirations." (Deadline.com)
GREAT BRITISH BAKING SHOW, THE (Netflix) - Matt Lucas took to social media with the news he is exiting as co-host of the series after three seasons. (@RealMattLucas)
LEGENDARY (HBO Max) - The streamer has pulled the plug on the voguing competition series after three seasons. (Deadline.com)
MORE (HBO Max) - Chris O'Shea has been cast in the drama pilot as Timothy Wilde, "a lesser British aristocrat engaged to Londyn (Christian Serratos), making him one half of 'Lonothy,' social media‘s most buzzed-about and closely-watched celebrity couples." (Variety.com)
PALACE, THE (HBO) - Hugh Grant is bound for the limited series in a yet-to-be-revealed guest role. (Deadline.com)
REMIX (FOX, New!) - Sam Laybourne and Mnelik Belilgne are set to team for a new comedy at the network which "follows a progressive, podcast-loving millennial who tries to modernize his father's old school funk recording studio in an effort to save the family business and bond with his outdated, opinionated music producer dad. The only problem with this hopeful, optimistic vision is that Dad thinks it sounds like touchy-feely garbage." The pair will presumably executive produce for FOX Entertainment. (Deadline.com)
WE WERE THE LUCKY ONES (Hulu) - Amit Rahav, Eva Feiler and Hadas Yaron have all booked roles on the upcoming limited series. Rahav will star as Jakob," sweet and soulful, there is hardly anywhere he'd rather be than beside his high school sweetheart, Bella (Eva Feiler), or peering down through the viewfinder of his camera." Feiler then is Bella, "who is deeply engrained in the fabric of the Kurc family and is Jakob's (Amit Rahav) long-time love." And Yaron is set as the "thoughtful and diligent, Mila, who holds a degree in classical music." (Deadline.com)
