12 ROCKS IN A BOX (HBO Max, New!) - Todd Berger has sold a new dramedy to the streamer which centers on Suzannah Weaver, "a self-described 'Murderista' obsessed with true crime. Suzannah is thrilled to find herself on a jury for a high-profile Las Vegas murder trial. But Suzannah soon begins to suspect that not all is as it seems with this case, and a DIY investigation leads her to believe that the killer may indeed be in the courtroom every day... and it isn't the man on trial." Sherri Cooper Landsman, Jennifer Levin, Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer will also executive produce for the Warner Bros. Television-based Doozer Productions. (Variety.com)
BASTARD SON & THE DEVIL HIMSELF, THE (Netflix) - Creator Joe Barton confirmed on Twitter the streamer has canceled his series after one season. (@JoeBarton_)
SURVIVAL FROM ABOVE (Roku) - The streamer has opted not to proceed with the ambitious jungle reality series. Pre-production had been underway with "casting set and several tree-top structures constructed." Producer Caravan Media however is "in advanced stage talks with a UK network over taking on the show."
