1899 (Netflix) - Co-creator Baran bo Odar revealed on social media the series has been canceled after one season. (@baranboodar)
GAME OF THRONES (HBO) - George R.R. Martin gave an update on the latest "Game of Thrones" spin-offs in the works at the network via his blog: "(Some of those are moving faster than others, as is always the case with development. None have been greenlit yet, though we are hoping… maybe soon. A couple have been shelved, but I would not agree that they are dead. You can take something off the shelf as easily as you can put it on the shelf. All the changes at HBO Max have impacted us, certainly). We are also still developing the Wild Cards tv series for Peacock, based (largely) on FORT FREAK." (GeorgeRRMartin.com, 12/28)
X FACTOR, THE (NBC, New!) - NBC is reportedly in talks with Simon Cowell for a new incarnation of the U.K. series. FOX aired a domestic take for three seasons from 2011 to 2013. (The-Sun.com, 12/29)
