I LOVE THAT FOR YOU (Showtime) - The pay channel has pulled the plug on the series after one season. "I Love That for You has completed its run on Showtime," a spokesperson for the network said in a statement. "We want to thank Vanessa, Jeremy and Jessi, along with the incredible cast and crew for their hard work and wish them the best going forward." (Deadline.com)
IRRATIONAL, THE (NBC) - Brian King will recur on the newcomer as Jace Richards, "an FBI agent who has become involved with Alec's ex-wife. While he and Alec try and get along, they frequently butt heads over their different approaches to investigations." (Deadline.com)
RHYTHM + FLOW ITALY (Netflix, New!) - The streamer has commissioned an eight-episode Italian edition of its hit rap competition series. Fremantle will be behind the project, due in 2024, with local artists Fabri Fibra, Geolier and Rose Villain attached. Dino Clemente, Matteo Lenardon, Paola Papa, Antonio Vicaretti and Chiara Guerra are the writers with Alessio Muzi directing. (Deadline.com)
SIGNORA VOLPE (Acorn TV) - Filming on a second season of three, 90-minute episodes is underway in Italy. (Deadline.com)
WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? (The CW) - The veteran improv series will return this fall with more episodes, despite Colin Mochrie indicating the show filmed its final season in January. "We have another batch of episodes coming, they wound up being able to shoot more episodes, which we ordered," the network's Heather Olander told the publication. "Those will be coming in 2024 and after that that we don't know [what] the future is. There was some discussion around whether the cast wanted to continue with the show or not." Adding, "It's been a great show. That type of show is exceptionally hard to produce; Dan Patterson has done a great job, because those improv shows tend to be hard to launch, hard to keep on, hard to keep funny and he's done a good job at it," she said, adding that it would be open to doing more episodes." (Deadline.com)
WINNING TIME: THE RISE OF THE LAKERS DYNASTY (HBO) - McCabe Slye's Jimmy Buss, "the youngest son of Lakers owner Jerry Buss who has aims to step up in the family business," will return for the series' second season as a regular. (Deadline.com)
