truTV's Weekly NASCAR In-Season Challenge Altcast to Feature Jeff Burton & Larry McReynolds
TNT Sports has assembled a deep roster of esteemed analysts, commentators and pit reporters in the run up to the inaugural NASCAR In-Season Challenge, with exclusive live race coverage beginning Saturday, June 28, at the Quaker State 400 from Atlanta Motor Speedway, followed by four consecutive Sundays of adrenaline-pumping race action: July 6 in Chicago; July 13 in Sonoma; July 20 in Dover; and July 27 in Indianapolis - all on TNT, truTV and Max.
The previously announced broadcast booth team featuring NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., Daytona 500-winning Crew Chief Steve Letarte and veteran motorsports commentator Adam Alexander will lead TNT Sports' race coverage of the NASCAR In-Season Challenge. They will be joined by pit reporters Marty Snider, Danielle Trotta and Alan Cavanna.
TNT's NASCAR Nation pre- and post-race studio coverage will be on site throughout the NASCAR In-Season Challenge, hosted by Shannon Spake with analysts Jamie McMurray, winner of the 2010 Daytona 500, and Parker Kligerman, former NASCAR Cup Series driver and current NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver for Henderson Motorsports.
TNT Sports' robust NASCAR coverage will also include the NASCAR In-Season Challenge Altcast on truTV. The alternate viewing experience, which will take fans inside the individual driver bracket storylines each week, will be hosted by former Crew Chief Larry McReynolds and 21-time NASCAR Cup Series winner Jeff Burton each week.
Additionally, Mamba Smith, one of NASCAR's preeminent personalities and content creators, will contribute to B/R Racing as a correspondent. He will also contribute to TNT's NASCAR coverage.
TNT Sports and NASCAR are entering the first year of a new seven-year multimedia rights agreement in the U.S. that will see some of the biggest moments in the NASCAR season returning to TNT Sports' linear and streaming platforms. Additionally, truTV and Max will exclusively simulcast the second half of the NASCAR Cup Series practices and qualifying sessions.
Earlier this season, TNT Sports and Max launched the NASCAR Driver Cam experience - exclusively on Max - which offers motorsports fans the ultimate all-access pass to every driver for every race throughout the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, including a layered audio mix of scanner team radios and ambient car noise, all synced up with a 1080p Driver Cam feed (on supported devices).
This season marks the continuation of TNT Sports' 32-year relationship with NASCAR, a collaboration that began in 1983 and one that has been centered on innovation and creativity that was instrumental to the growth of the sport.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr, Analyst
Dale Earnhardt Jr. is an American professional stock car racing driver, champion team owner, businessman, NASCAR analyst, and 2022 inductee into the NASCAR Hall of Fame. He won a record 15 straight NASCAR Most Popular Driver awards from 2003 to 2017, consecutive NASCAR Busch Series Championships in 1998 and 1999 and the prestigious Daytona 500 in 2004 and 2014. He is a two-time New York Times bestselling author, most recently with his 2018 book Racing To The Finish. He also has a children's book series consisting of Buster's Trip to Victory Lane, Buster Gets Back on Track and Buster and the Christmas Parade. Earnhardt spearheads his own entertainment company, Dirty Mo Media, which creates, develops and publishes original programming, including Dale's own show, the Dale Jr. Download, and provides custom multimedia production services through its branded content studio. Dale resides in Mooresville, North Carolina, with his wife, Amy, and their two daughters, Isla and Nicole.
Steve Letarte, Analyst
Letarte is a former Daytona 500-winning crew chief turned broadcaster, renowned for his work with Hendrick Motorsports and as a lead analyst for NBC Sports. Born on May 14, 1979, in Cornish, Maine, Letarte began his career at age 16 with Hendrick Motorsports. He became one of the youngest crew chiefs in NASCAR history at 25, leading Jeff Gordon's No. 24 team to 10 wins and 76 top-five finishes from 2005 to 2010. In 2011, he transitioned to crew chief for Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s No. 88 car, securing a Daytona 500 victory in 2014 and helping Earnhardt return to the Chase for the NASCAR Cup. After retiring from crew chief duties following the 2014 season, Letarte joined NBC Sports as a color commentator, providing expert analysis on NASCAR races. He also serves as a consultant for Spire Motorsports. Letarte resides in Cornelius, North Carolina, with his wife, Tricia, and their two children.
Adam Alexander, Play-by-Play Commentator
Alexander returns to TNT Sports as the lead play-by-play commentator, bringing with him over 30 years of broadcasting experience in motorsports. He previously served as play-by-play commentator for NASCAR on TNT from 20210-2014, and most recently was the play-by-play announcer for FOX's NASCAR Xfinity Series coverage and co-hosted NASCAR Race Hub on FS1.
Marty Snider, Pit Reporter
Snider began his television career in 1994 working as a sports reporter for NBC's affiliate in Greenville, S.C. and acted as an associate producer for ESPN's NASCAR Today. Snider co-produced HBO's Emmy Award winning series, 24/7, featuring Jimmie Johnson and co-hosted The Morning Drive on Sirius XM's NASCAR channel. He also reported for NASCAR.com's NASCAR Insider, and The Preview Show delivered by FedEx Racing. In addition to TNT, Snider also serves as a pit reporter for NBC Sports' NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series and INDYCAR coverage. Snider is also the pre and post-race host for NASCAR studio coverage and regularly contributes to NBC Sports' fan-favorite NASCAR call-in show NASCAR America Motormouths.
Danielle Trotta, Pit Reporter
Trotta began her career at WBTV in Charlotte before joining Fox Sports in 2010, where she co-hosted NASCAR Race Hub and RaceDay. After leaving Fox in 2017, she worked with NBC Sports Boston 'while simultaneously hosting postrace coverage for NASCAR on NBCSN' and currently hosts On Track on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. In 2025, she joins Amazon Prime Video as the host of the pre and postrace show for NASCAR's streaming coverage. She's married to former NASCAR driver Robby Benton.
Alan Cavanna, Pit Reporter
Cavanna is a veteran NASCAR reporter and broadcaster known for his work with FOX Sports and NASCAR.com. A Syracuse University graduate, he has covered the sport since 2013, serving as a pit reporter and contributor to shows like NASCAR Race Hub. He's also the host of the Gas & Go podcast and a multi-time award winner from the National Motorsports Press Association.

Shannon Spake, Host
Spake is known for her extensive coverage across NASCAR, NFL, college football, and basketball. She began her broadcasting career with roles at Nickelodeon and CBS before transitioning to on-air positions at Speed Channel and WCCB-TV in Charlotte. Her tenure at ESPN from 2006 to 2016 included sideline reporting for college sports and pit reporting for NASCAR events. In 2016, she joined FOX Sports, where she hosted NASCAR Race Hub and served as a sideline reporter for NFL and college games. In 2024, Spake transitioned to NASCAR Digital Media/TNT Sports, hosting "NASCAR Inside The Playoffs" and "NASCAR Daily."
Jamie McMurray, Analyst
McMurray is a retired American professional stock car racing driver known for his remarkable debut by winning his first NASCAR Cup Series race in just his second start in 2002. Over his career, McMurray secured seven Cup victories, including notable wins at the 2010 Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400, making him one of only three drivers to win both in the same year. He also claimed the 2015 Rolex 24 at Daytona, joining an elite group of drivers with wins in both the Daytona 500 and the 24 Hours of Daytona. After retiring from full-time racing in 2018, McMurray transitioned to broadcasting and has been serving as a NASCAR analyst for FOX Sports and the CW.
Parker Kligerman, Analyst
Kligerman began his motorsports career in the ARCA Re/Max Series, earning Rookie of the Year honors in 2009. Kligerman has competed across NASCAR's top three series, achieving notable success in the Truck Series with three career wins, including a memorable victory at Talladega in 2012. In 2025, he transitioned to sports car racing, joining Forte Racing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship. Beyond the track, Kligerman has been a pit reporter and analyst for NBC Sports since 2015 and co-founded the motorsports media brand "The Money Lap" with fellow driver Landon Cassill in 2023. He also co-founded Focus Now Solutions, the company behind the focus-enhancing beverage Focus7 Shot.

Larry McReynolds, Host
Larry McReynolds began his NASCAR career in 1975, he became a full-time crew chief in 1985 and achieved 23 Cup Series victories, including two Daytona 500 wins - guiding Davey Allison in 1992 and Dale Earnhardt in 1998. After retiring from the pit box in 2000, McReynolds transitioned to broadcasting, joining FOX Sports in 2001 as part of its inaugural NASCAR broadcast team alongside Mike Joy and Darrell Waltrip. He has since become a familiar voice in NASCAR coverage, contributing as an analyst on programs like NASCAR RaceDay and NASCAR Race Hub. Beyond television, McReynolds co-hosts the daily SiriusXM NASCAR Radio show On Track and has authored books detailing his journey in motorsports. Affectionately known as "America's Crew Chief," he continues to be a prominent ambassador for the sport.
Jeff Burton, Host
Burton is a retired NASCAR driver and current racing analyst. Nicknamed "The Mayor" for his leadership and professionalism, Burton competed in the NASCAR Cup Series from 1993 to 2014, securing 21 wins - including notable victories at the Coca-Cola 600 in 1999 and 2001, and the Southern 500 in 1999 - and achieving 27 wins in the Xfinity Series. He was honored as the 1994 NASCAR Rookie of the Year and, in 2023, was named one of NASCAR's 75 Greatest Drivers. Since 2015, Burton has served as an analyst for NBC Sports' NASCAR coverage, bringing his extensive experience and insight to the broadcast booth.

Mamba Smith, Correspondent
Dylan "Mamba" Smith is a multifaceted figure in NASCAR, known for his roles as a driver, media personality, and behind-the-scenes contributor. Smith began racing go-karts at age four and later competed in the Allison Legacy Race Series, winning the North Championship in 2008. Smith has participated in late model racing and made his ARCA Menards Series debut in 2022 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, finishing ninth. He has also competed in the ARCA Menards Series West and the Snowflake 100 at Five Flags Speedway. Beyond the track, Smith serves as an analyst for NASCAR.com and co-hosts the podcast Mark, Mamba & The Mayor with NASCAR legends Mark Martin and Jeff Burton. He made his debut as a pit reporter for NASCAR on FOX in 2024 and has appeared on Kevin Harvick's Happy Hour podcast. Affectionately dubbed NASCAR's "Chief Hype Officer," Smith is known for his infectious enthusiasm and commitment to uplifting the sport's community.
