Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Demos; ABC Rises Week-to-Week

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/2/17):

NBC (8.979 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) held onto the demo crown on Monday with week two of "The Voice" (10.791 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.5, #2) and "The Brave" (5.355 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #8).

ABC (10.173 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2) then was a close second with new episodes from "Dancing with the Stars" (9.516 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T4) and "The Good Doctor" (11.490 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.4, #3).

Next up was CBS (7.404 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #3) with a new "The Big Bang Theory" (13.660 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.0, #1), the premiere of "9JKL" (8.305 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T4) and fresh installments from "Kevin Can Wait" (6.768 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.4, #7), "Me, Myself & I" (5.197 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #10) and "Scorpion" (5.246 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #11).

Meanwhile, FOX (4.363 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4) offered up the return of "Lucifer" (3.877 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #9) and the debut of "The Gifted" (4.849 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.5, #6).

And finally, repeats of "Supergirl" (0.912 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12) and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (0.593 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12) on The CW (0.753 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) rounded out the night.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/3; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.6/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/4 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (10.275 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1) led the broadcast charge with a new "The Voice" (11.582 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.9, #2) followed by the debut of "Timeless" (7.662 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T4).

CBS (10.198 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2) then was the silver draw with its mix of "The Big Bang Theory" (14.396 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.4, #1), "Kevin Can Wait" (10.368 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.4, #3), the return of "Scorpion" (9.403 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T4) and a second "Scorpion" (8.810 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T6).

Next up was ABC (8.850 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3) with a new "Dancing with the Stars" (10.555 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T6) and the premiere of "Conviction" (5.439 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T9).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.415 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4) offered up originals from "Gotham" (3.139 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T9) and "Lucifer" (3.692 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #8).
