A Rebroadcast of "NCIS" Delivers More Viewers than All Original Scripted Programming on the Competition

CBS's reality trio�UNDERCOVER BOSS, THE AMAZING RACE 16 and SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS�all delivered strong performances in a week comprised mostly of rebroadcasts opposite Olympic competition, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Feb. 21, week 22 of the 2009-2010 television season.

UNDERCOVER BOSS, the Network's newest hit, was Sunday's number one entertainment program in viewers and key demographics, topping an original episode of "Desperate Housewives." THE AMAZING RACE 16 posted across-the-board gains over last week's premiere, while the second episode of SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS out-rated the comparable second episode of SURVIVOR: SAMOA.

On the scripted front, a rebroadcast of NCIS attracted more viewers than all original scripted programming on the competition, including "Lost," "Grey's Anatomy," "Desperate Housewives" and "24." Rebroadcasts of TWO AND A HALF MEN and THE BIG BANG THEORY were the week's top sitcoms in viewers and key demos.

For the week in viewers: CBS (7.75m), NBC (24.75m), FOX (8.68m) and ABC (6.27m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (12.33m), ahead of FOX (9.93m), NBC (8.68m) and ABC (8.61m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS averaged a 2.7/07 in adults 25-54 and 2.0/05 in adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and second in adults 18-49 (3.3/09).

For the week in households: CBS (4.9/08), NBC (14.1/23), FOX (5.0/08) and ABC (4.0/06). In households, season-to-date, CBS is first (7.5/12), ahead of FOX (5.8/09), ABC (5.4/09) and NBC (5.3/09).

CBS's Weekly Highlights:

? SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS was second in households (6.9/11), viewers (11.97m), adults 25-54 (4.9/12) and adults 18-49 (3.9/11). Compared to last fall's second broadcast of SURVIVOR: SAMOA (which aired during premiere week), SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS was up +7% in adults 25-54 (from 4.6/12), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 3.7/11) and added +300,000 viewers (from 11.67m, +3%).

? UNDERCOVER BOSS was second in households (8.0/12), viewers (13.76m), adults 25-54 (5.9/12) and adults 18-49 (4.8/11). UNDERCOVER BOSS topped an original episode of "Desperate Housewives" in viewers (vs. 10.92m, +26%), adults 18-49 (vs. 3.7/09, +30%) and adults 25-54 (vs. 4.5/09, +31%). UNDERCOVER BOSS was Sunday's number one entertainment program.

? THE AMAZING RACE 16 was second in households (5.2/08), viewers (9.01m) and adults 25-54 (3.7/08); it was tied for second in adults 18-49 (2.9/07, with FOX). Compared to last week's premiere, THE AMAZING RACE 16 was up +6% in adults 25-54 (from 3.5/08), +4% in adults 18-49 (2.8/07) and added +10,000 viewers (from 9.00m).

? A rebroadcast of NCIS (11.66m) delivered a larger audience than any first-run scripted series on the competition, beating "Grey's Anatomy," "Desperate Housewives," "Lost" and "24."

? Rebroadcasts of TWO AND A HALF MEN (10.61m) and THE BIG BANG THEORY (10.09m) delivered more viewers than all first-run sitcoms on the competition and were the top sitcoms in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.
