CBS Wins the First Two Thursdays of the Season in Viewers and Key Demos for First Time Since 2004

CBS WINS THE FIRST TWO THURSDAYS OF THE SEASON IN VIEWERS AND KEY DEMOS FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 2004

"The Big Bang Theory," "$#*! My Dad Says" and "The Mentalist" All Win Their Respective Time Periods in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

"CSI" Wins Time Period in Viewers

"The Mentalist" Is #1 Show of the Night in Viewers

CBS won its second consecutive Thursday in viewers and key demographics as THE BIG BANG THEORY, $#*! MY DAD SAYS and THE MENTALIST won their respective time periods in key ratings categories, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sept. 30.

This marks the first time that CBS has won the first two Thursdays of the season in all key measures since 2004.

At 8 PM, THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (7.6/13), viewers (12.97m), adults 25-54 (5.3/16), adults 18-49 (4.3/14) and adults 18-34 (3.0/11).

At 8:30 PM, $#*! MY DAD SAYS was first in households (6.3/11), viewers (10.44m), adults 25-54 (4.1/11) and adults 18-49 (3.2/10).

At 9 PM, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (8.3/13) and viewers (13.32m); it was second in adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and averaged a 3.0/08 in adults 18-49.

At 10 PM, THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.1/16), viewers (14.55m), adults 25-54 (4.0/11) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09). THE MENTALIST was Thursday's #1 program in viewers.

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.1/14), viewers (13.19m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/10).
