NBC RESULTS FOR THE PRIMETIME WEEK OF APRIL 18-24

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - April 26, 2011 - Led by "The Office," "Celebrity Apprentice," "Parenthood" and "Parks and Recreation," NBC averaged a 1.5 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 4.9 million viewers overall for the week of April 18-24, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

"The Office" ranked #6 among all primetime programs this week in the key demographic of adults 18-49. Also among the top programs of the week in primetime's key demo were "The Celebrity Apprentice" (#11, tied), the second-season finale of "Parenthood" (#16), "Parks and Recreation" (#17, tied) and "30 Rock" (#24).

Among adults 18-34, "The Office" was the #3-ranked primetime program, tied with Thursday's edition of "American Idol." Also among the top shows of the week in adults 18-34 were "Parks and Recreation (#7), "30 Rock" (#11), "Parenthood" (#12) and "Celebrity Apprentice" (#13, tied).

Primetime averages for the week of April 18-24 in adults 18-49 were Fox (2.7/8), ABC (1.9/6), CBS (1.8/5), NBC (1.5/4) and CW (0.8/2). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (8.5 million), Fox (8.2 million), ABC (7.7 million), NBC (4.9 million) and CW (1.8 million).

NBC highlights for the week of April 18-24:

* On Sunday, "The Celebrity Apprentice" generated week-to-week growth of 15 percent in adults 18-49 and 8 percent in total viewers

* "Celebrity Apprentice" ranked #1 in the two-hour time period in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key demographics.

* For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, "The Celebrity Apprentice" ranked #1 among the broadcast networks in adults 18-49 and all other key categories -- adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and adults, men and women 25-54, plus total viewers.

* With a 3.3 rating, the final hour of "Celebrity Apprentice" was the highest-rated hour of primetime on any network Sunday night in adults 18-49. It was also the top 18-49 result in the 10 p.m. hour for any telecast on ABC, CBS or NBC for the week of April 18-24.

* "The Office" was the #1 scripted show of the night on Thursday in adults 18-49.

* Also on Thursday, "Parks and Recreation" ranked #2 among the broadcast networks in its time period in adults 18-49 and was #1 among adults, men and women 18-34 and men 18-49.

* Additionally on Thursday, a one-hour "30 Rock" matched the show's top 18-49 rating since February 24 and attracted its biggest overall audience since February 3. "30 Rock" generated NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the Thursday 10-11 p.m. ET hour since January 27 and ranked #1 among the broadcast networks in the hour in adults 18-49 and other key demos.

* On Tuesday, the second season finale of "Parenthood" delivered the show's highest 18-49 rating since September 21 and its biggest overall viewership since its season premiere on September 14. Week to week, "Parenthood" was up 19 percent in adults 18-49 and 21 percent or more than 1.1 million persons in total viewers.

* "Parenthood" ranked #1 in the time period versus all broadcast and cable competition in adults 18-49 and other key demographics.

* These "Parenthood" results are likely to increase substantially when Nielsen issues "live plus seven day" ratings for the week of April 18-24. Through the first 28 weeks of the season, "Parenthood" added an average 41 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" ratings to its "live plus seven day" results, the #2 percentage increase among all primetime series on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW.

* Also on Tuesday, "The Biggest Loser: Couples" tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and ranked #2 outright in adults 18-34 in a time period that included competition from ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," Fox's "Glee" and CBS's encores of "NCIS" and "NCIS: LA."

* From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Loser" gained 29 percent in adults 18-49, 27 percent in adults 25-54 and 12 percent in total viewers.

* NBC ranked #2 among all broadcast and cable networks in primetime Tuesday night in adults 18-49.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of April 18-24

On Monday, April 18 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Chuck" averaged a 1.3 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall. Week to week, "Chuck" was up 5 percent in total viewers (4.2 million vs. 4.0 million).

Monday from 9-10 p.m. ET, "The Event" averaged a 1.1/3 in adults 18-49 and 3.9 million viewers overall. These results for "The Event" are likely to increase substantially when Nielsen releases "live plus seven day" results for the week of April 18-24. Since its return to the schedule on March 7, "The Event" has added an average 43 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure.

Monday from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: LA" averaged a 1.1/3 in adults 18-49 and 5.1 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Law & Order: LA" grew by 20 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 rating from a 1.0) and by 11 percent in total viewers (to 5.392 million from 4.851 million).

On Tuesday, April 19 from 8-10 p.m. ET, "The Biggest Loser: Couples" (2.3/6 in adults 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall) tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and ranked #2 outright in adults 18-34 in a time period that included competition from ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" and "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution," Fox's "Glee" and CBS's encores of "NCIS" and "NCIS: LA" and Fox's "Glee" encore.

From its first half-hour to its fourth, "The Biggest Loser" gained 29 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 2.7 rating from a 2.1), 27 percent in adults 25-54 (3.3 vs. 2.6) and 12 percent in total viewers (7.237 million vs. 6.472 million).

Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET, the second season finale of "Parenthood" (2.5/7 in adults 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall) delivered the show's highest 18-49 rating since September 21 and its biggest overall viewership since its season premiere on September 14. Week to week, "Parenthood" was up 19 percent in adults 18-49 (2.5 vs. 2.1) and 21 percent or more than 1.1 million persons in total viewers (6.319 million vs. 5.215 million).

"Parenthood" ranked #1 in the time period versus all broadcast and cable competition in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and other key demographics. These "Parenthood" results are likely to increase substantially when Nielsen issues "live plus seven day" ratings for the week of April 18-24. Through the first 28 weeks of the season, "Parenthood" added an average 41 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" ratings to its "live plus seven day" results, the #2 percentage increase among all primetime series on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW.

NBC ranked #2 among all broadcast and cable networks in primetime Tuesday night in adults 18-49.

On Wednesday, April 20 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Minute To Win It" averaged a 0.8/2 in adults 18-49 and 3.1 million viewers overall in a highly competitive time period opposite Fox's "American Idol," CBS's "Survivor" and ABC's "The Middle" and "Better With You."

From 9-10 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Minute To Win It" averaged a 0.8/2 in 18-49 and 3.0 million viewers overall in another competitive hour opposite Fox's "American Idol" and "Breaking In," CBS's "Criminal Minds" and ABC's "Modern Family." From its first half-hour to its second, the "Minute" rebroadcast grew in all key ratings categories, including gains of 29 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 0.9 rating from a 0.7), 44 percent in adults 25-54 (to a 1.3 from a 0.9) and 37 percent in total viewers (3.458 million vs. 2.524 million).

Wednesday from 10-11 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" tracked down a 1.4/4 in adults 18-49 and 5.0 million viewers overall. "SVU" built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 75 percent in 18-49 rating and 66 percent or nearly 2.0 million persons in total viewers.

From its first half-hour to its second, the "Law & Order: SVU" rebroadcast grew in all key ratings categories, including gains of 15 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.5 rating from a 1.3), 20 percent in adults 25-54 (1.8 vs. 1.5) and 14 percent in total viewers (5.273 million vs. 4.642 million).

On Thursday, April 21 at 8 p.m. ET, "Community" averaged a 1.4/5 in adults 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers overall in a highly competitive time period opposite Fox's "American Idol," ABC's "Wipeout" encore, CBS's rebroadcast of "Big Bang Theory" and CW's "Vampire Diaries." "Community" ranked #2 among those networks in adults 18-34, behind only "Idol." Through the first 28 weeks of the season, "Community" has added an average 26 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure

At 8:30 p.m. ET, "The Paul Reiser Show" averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 2.4 million viewers overall.

Thursday from 9-9:31 p.m. ET, "The Office" (3.3/10 in adults 18-49, 6.8 million viewers overall) was the #1 scripted show of the night in adults 18-49. "The Office" ranked #2 in its slot among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and was #1 in adults, men and women 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54.

These results for "The Office" are likely to increase substantially when Nielsen issues "live plus seven day" results for the week of April 18-24. Through the first 28 weeks of the season, "The Office" added an average 32 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure. In total viewers, The Office" on average gains 27 percent or 2.0 million viewers (to 9.3 million from 7.3 million).

From 9:31-10 p.m., "Parks and Recreation" (2.4/6 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in the slot among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and was #1 among adults, men and women 18-34 and men 18-49.

Thursday from 10-11 p.m. ET, "30 Rock" (2.2/6 in adults 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall) matched its top 18-49 rating since February 24 and attracted its biggest overall audience since February 3. This marks NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the Thursday 10-11 p.m. hour since January 27. "30 Rock" ranked #1 among the broadcast networks in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and other key demos opposite encores of CBS's "The Mentalist" and ABC's "Private Practice."

It's worth noting that through the first 28 weeks of the season, "30 Rock" added an average 31 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" results.

On Friday, April 22 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Friday Night Lights" averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers overall.

Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) tied for #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and was #2 outright in adults 25-54 and total viewers. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" reported increases of 27 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.4 rating from a 1.1), 31 percent in adults 25-54 (2.1 vs. 1.6) and 27 percent or 1.4 million persons in total viewers (6.486 million vs. 5.091 million).

On Saturday, April 23 at 8 p.m. ET, "Chase" tracked down a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 3.1 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Chase" grew by 17 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.7 from a 0.6) and 10 percent in total viewers (3.251 million vs. 2.949 million).

At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: LA" averaged a 0.6/2 in 18-49 and 3.2 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Law & Order: LA" increased by 17 percent in 18-49 rating (0.7 vs. 0.6) and by 13 percent in total viewers (3.381 million vs. 2.997 million).

Saturday from 10-11 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.0 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 50 percent in 18-49 rating and 24 percent in total viewers.

On Sunday, April 24 from 7-8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" delivered a 0.8/3 in 18-49 and 4.3 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "Dateline" grew 29 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 0.9 from a 0.7) and 19 percent in total viewers (4.662 million vs. 3.925 million).

Sunday from 8-9 p.m. ET, "America's Next Great Restaurant" averaged a 1.2/4 in 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "America's Next Great Restaurant" grew in virtually all key ratings categories, including gains of 9 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 rating from a 1.1) and 23 percent in adults 25-54 (1.6 vs. 1.3). "America's Next Great Restaurant" built on its lead-in by 50 percent in adults 18-49.

Sunday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "The Celebrity Apprentice" (3.0/8 in 18-49, 8.3 million viewers overall) grew week to week by 15 percent in 18-49 rating (3.0 vs. 2.6) and 8 percent in total viewers (8.257 million vs. 7.656 million). "Celebrity Apprentice" ranked #1 in the two-hour time period in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and other key demographics.

"The Celebrity Apprentice" generated steady growth throughout its two-hour time period, increasing by 26 percent in 18-49 rating from its first half-hour to its fourth (to a 3.4 from a 2.7) and by 27 percent or more than 2.0 million persons in total viewers (to 9.5 million from 7.4 million).

For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, "The Celebrity Apprentice" ranked #1 among the broadcast networks in adults 18-49 and all other key categories -- adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and adults, men and women 25-54, plus total viewers -- versus original competition from CBS's "Beyond the Blackboard" and ABC's "Brothers & Sisters." From 10-11 p.m., "Celebrity Apprentice" topped the ABC-CBS competition combined in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and all key adult-male demos. With a 3.3 rating from 10-11 p.m. in 18-49, "Celebrity Apprentice" delivered the top-rated hour of the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.

The 3.3 rating from 10-11 p.m. ET in 18-49 for "Celebrity Apprentice" is the top result in the 10 p.m. hour for any telecast on ABC, CBS or NBC for the week of April 18-24.

"The Celebrity Apprentice" built on its lead-in by 150 percent in 18-49 and 122 percent in total viewers. Versus NBC's non-sports average in this time period earlier this season prior to the "Apprentice" debut, "Celebrity Apprentice" was up 67 percent in 18-49 rating (3.0 vs. 1.8, "live plus same day") and 35 percent in total viewers (8.257 million vs. 6.103 million).

NBC's Sunday primetime built steadily throughout the night, more than quadrupling in 18-49 rating (to a 3.4/9 from a 0.7/2) and more than doubling in total viewers (to 9.459 million from 3.925 million) from the first to the final half-hour of primetime.
