CBS Sweeps Thursday with its Biggest Viewer Delivery of the Season and Best Demos Since Premiere Week

The new comedy ROB, starring Rob Schneider as a lifelong bachelor who marries into a tight-knit Mexican family, premiered with the time period's best deliveries in viewers and key demographic since May 2010 while PERSON OF INTEREST posted series highs in viewers and demos, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, Jan. 12.

ROB (P) was first in households (7.9/12), viewers (13.48m), adults 25-54 (5.4/13) and adults 18-49 (4.1/11). ROB posted the time period's best delivery with a regularly-scheduled program since May 13, 2010 (SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS) in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in households (9.4/15), viewers (15.93m), adults 25-54 (6.9/17), adults 18-49 (5.2/15) and adults 18-34 (3.8/15). THE BIG BANG THEORY posted its best delivery in viewers since Nov. 3, 2011, in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 since Nov. 17, 2011 and in adults 25-54 since Monday, March 8, 2010.

PERSON OF INTEREST was first in households (8.8/13), viewers (14.73m), second in both adults 25-54 (4.4/10, -0.1 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (3.2/08). PERSON OF INTEREST posted series-high deliveries in households, viewers and adults 18-49, matched series high ratings in adults 25-54.

THE MENTALIST was first in households (8.3/14), viewers (13.40m), adults 25-54 (3.8/09) and adults 18-49 (2.7/07). Compared to the last first-run episode (on Dec. 15, 2011), THE MENTALIST was up +2% in households (from 8.1/14), even in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 and added +240,000 viewers (from 13.16m, +2%).

For the night, CBS was first in households (8.6/13), viewers (14.28m), adults 25-54 (4.8/11) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09). CBS posted its best Thursday delivery this season in both households and viewers, best Thursday ratings in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since Sept. 22, 2011 (premiere week Thursday).
