Investigation Discovery Celebrates Four-Year Anniversary with its Best-Rated Month

(Silver Spring, Md.) January 2012 marked Investigation Discovery's best month in network history, increasing P2+ 21% (716k) and W25-54 +30% (236k) in primetime delivery. ID has now grown in prime HH delivery for 48 consecutive months, every month since its launch, and continues its reign as America's fastest-growing network. (1)

Coinciding with the network's four-year anniversary on January 27, ID also garnered its best week ever- January 23-29 - with prime delivery of 783k P2+, 398k P25-54 and 276k W25-54. In addition, for that week, ID was ranked #6 for W25-54 delivery in total day, behind only USA, TNT, TBS, A&E and Food. (2)

Biggest primetime ratings drivers for the month included the debut series Dark Minds (P2+ 983k, W25-54 394k) and Scorned: Love Kills (P2+ 922k; W25-54 350k) as well as the return of Stalked: Someone's Watching (P2+ 936, W25-54 298k). Other outstanding performers included Nightmare Next Door, Stolen Voices, Buried Secrets and Fatal Encounters.
