CBS Weekly Ratings - Network Posts Best Weekly Ratings Performance in More Than a Year

CBS POSTS BEST WEEKLY RATINGS PERFORMANCE IN MORE THAN A YEAR

Network Up Over Last Year in All Key Measures

"The 54th Annual GRAMMY(R) Awards" Posts its Largest Audience Since 1984 and Second-Largest Ever

"NCIS," "Person of Interest," "The Mentalist" and "The Big Bang Theory" All Deliver Season-High Ratings

CBS swept the week in viewers, adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and adults 18-34 with its best performances in these measures since the week ending Jan. 23, 2011, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Feb. 12, Week 21 of the 2011-2012 television season.

CBS's win was paced by THE 54TH ANNUAL GRAMMY(R) AWARDS, which delivered 39.9 million viewers, the largest audience since 1984 and the second-largest ever for the awards broadcast and season-high ratings for NCIS, PERSON OF INTEREST, THE MENTALIST and THE BIG BANG THEORY.

For the week in viewers: CBS (15.36m), FOX (6.97m), ABC (6.52m) and NBC (6.39m). Season-to-date: CBS (12.19m), FOX (9.02m), ABC (8.28m) and NBC (8.04m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (5.3/13), adults 18-49 (4.2/11) and adults 18-34 (2.9/09). CBS posted its best deliveries in the measures since the week ending Jan. 23, 2011. Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +16% in households, +17% in viewers, +23% in adults 25-54, +24% in adults 18-49 and +12% in adults 18-34.

Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.1/10) and second adults 18-49 (3.2/09, -0.1 behind FOX). Season-to-date, CBS is up +4% in households, +1% in viewers, +2% in adults 25-54 and +7% in adults 18-49 compared to last year.

For the week in households: CBS (9.2/15), ABC (4.1/07), FOX (4.1/06) and NBC (4.0/06). Season-to-date: CBS (7.6/12), ABC and FOX (5.3/09, each) and NBC (4.9/08).

UNFORGETTABLE was first in households (7.7/13), viewers (11.86m), adults 25-54 (3.4/08) and second in adults 18-49 (2.2/06, -0.1 behind ABC). Compared to the last first-run episode (on Jan. 10, 2012), UNFORGETTABLE was up +7% in households (from 7.2/12), +13% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/07), even in adults 18-49 and added +610,000 viewers (from 11.25m, +5%). ?

CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (8.3/13), viewers (13.31m), second in both adults 25-54 (4.4/10) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). ?

ROB (8:31-9:00 PM) was second in households (6.4/10), viewers (10.74m), adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). ?

PERSON OF INTEREST was first in households (9.1/14), viewers (15.14m), second in both adults 25-54 (4.7/11, -0.1 behind ABC) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). PERSON OF INTEREST posted its largest audience to date, matched series highs in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. ?

THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.1/15), viewers (14.68m), adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and adults 18-49 (3.0/08). THE MENTALIST posted season highs in households, viewers and adults 25-54, matched the season's best adults 18-49 ratings. ?

A GIFTED MAN was first in households (5.8/10), viewers (8.78m), second in adults 25-54 (1.9/05). Compared to last week, A GIFTED MAN was up +5% in households (from 5.5/10), evening adults 18-49 (1.3/04) and added +370,000 viewers (from 8.41m, +4%). ?

CSI: NY was first in households (6.8/11), viewers (10.44m), adults 25-54 (2.4/06) and adults 18-49 (1.7/05). Compared to last week, CSI: NY was up +3% in households (from 6.6/11), +4% in adults 25-54 (from 2.3/06), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 1.6/05) and added +190,000 viewers (from 10.25m, +2%). ?
