LIFETIME'S "THE CLIENT LIST" GROWS WEEK-TO-WEEK
Viewership during last night's episode of Lifetime's all-new drama "The Client List," starring and executive produced by Jennifer Love Hewitt, grew across the key demos from its premiere last week according to Nielsen Research, including:
Total Viewers: 2.9 million (+4% vs. series premiere)
Adults 25-54: 1.4 million (+8%)
Adults 18-49: 1.3 million (+8%)
Women 25-54: 1.1 million (+21%)
Women 18-49: 1.0 million (+28%)
The Client List is about Texas housewife "Riley Parks" (Hewitt), who, after being deserted by her husband, is left in serious financial straits and takes a job at a seemingly traditional day spa in a neighboring town. But when she realizes the business in part also provides other services, Riley must make the difficult decision whether or not to embrace an opportunity for her to resolve her financial hardships. The series follows Riley as she delicately balances a moral conflict between two starkly different lives -- one as a single mother in a conservative town struggling to provide for her family and the other as a savvy and ambitious businesswoman working with a raucous, sexy and unpredictable group of women. Becoming more involved in the spa's business, where an employee objects to her choices and she works in a shroud of secrecy, Riley must reconcile her decision, despite the risk of disapproval from her family and friends. Cybill Shepherd stars as "Linette," Riley's mother; Loretta Devine plays "Georgia," the spa's feisty and disorganized owner; and Colin Egglesfield portrays Riley's brother-in-law "Evan." Based on the network's hit 2010 original movie, The Client List is executive produced by Hewitt, Dannielle Thomas, Howard Braunstein, Jordan Budde, Efrem Seeger and John Tinker, with Fedora Films and Jaffe/Braunstein producing in association with Sony Pictures Television.
