"Saturday Night Live," With Host Chris Rock, Scores the Show's Highest Rating in Metered-Market Households Since February 1
NBC spins the numbers for Saturday, November 1.

Saturday Primetime Results:

· "SNL Vintage" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET with an encore of an Oct. 18, 2008 telecast of "Saturday Night Live" hosted by Josh Brolin and featuring musical guest Adele) delivered a four-week high in 18-49 rating, the top "SNL Vintage" result since Oct. 4 (0.8/3 with host Steve Martin and musical guest the Blues Brothers, April 22, 1978). Last night's telecast also equaled the show's best 18-49 rating since the "SNL Vintage" debut on Sept. 27 (0.9/3 with host Richard Pryor and musical guest Gil Scott-Heron, Dec. 13, 1975).

· In total viewers, "SNL Vintage" hit a five-week high, best since the Sept. 27 premiere (3.200 million).

· In the time period, "SNL Vintage" is currently tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in women 18-49 (with a 0.8 rating) and #1 outright among those networks in women 25-54 (1.1), pending updates. Despite the 10 p.m. hour, "SNL Vintage" grew or held steady from half-hour to half-hour in every key measure, including gains of +14% in adults 18-49 (from a 0.7 rating to a 0.8), +20% in adults 25-54 (1.0 to 1.2) and +17% in total viewers (2.8 million to 3.3 million).

· NBC Sports live coverage of the 2014 Breeders' Cup aired from 8-9:08 p.m. ET and is currently generating a +29% gain versus last year in time zone-adjusted metered-market household ratings (from last year's 1.4 rating to a 1.8).

· A rebroadcast of "Law & Order: SVU," which aired from 9:08-10 p.m. ET, is currently scoring a 0.4/1 in 18-49 and 2.1 million viewers overall in 9-10 p.m. ET fast nationals. Versus last week's 0.4/1 in 18-49 and 1.5 million viewers overall in this time period, last night's "SVU" is currently even in 18-49 rating and up +36% in total viewers (2.053 million vs. 1.508 million), pending updates.

In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday night:

· "Saturday Night Live," with host Chris Rock and musical guest Prince (4.9 rating, 12 share in household results in the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research; 2.4/10 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters), scored the show's highest rating in metered-market households since Feb. 1 (with host Melissa McCarthy and musical guest Imagine Dragons, 5.4/13).

· In 18-49 rating in the Local People Meters, this is the highest-rated "SNL" since March 1 (with host Jim Parsons and musical guest Beck, 2.4/11) and equals the top "SNL" 18-49 rating in the LPMs since Feb. 1 (with host Melissa McCarthy and musical guest Imagine Dragons, 2.9/12).

· "Saturday Night Live" ranked as the #1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in both metered-market households and adult 18-49 rating in the Local People Meters, outscoring all primetime programs on those networks in both measures.
