Friday's Broadcast Ratings: "What Would You Do?" Returns on Top for ABC

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/29/15):

NBC (4.826 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1) and ABC (4.441 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1) shared in the demo honors with the latter serving up a repeat "Shark Tank" (4.358 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #5) followed by the return of "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (4.562 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) and a new "20/20" (4.402 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T3).

The Peacock then served up a rebroadcast of "America's Got Talent" (4.601 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T3) and a new "Dateline NBC" (5.275 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2).

Next up was CBS (5.207 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) and its repeat lineup of "Undercover Boss" (4.113 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), "Hawaii Five-0" (5.186 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7) and "Blue Bloods" (6.323 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.7, #6).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.644 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) offered up encores of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" (2.013 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10) and "Bullseye" (1.274 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10).

And finally, a new "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.504 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #9), a repeat "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.207 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10) and a new "The Messengers" (0.862 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) closed out the evening on The CW (1.109 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), said trio posted a 0.4, 0.4 and 0.2 rating, respectively.

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Mentalist" rebroadcast, 1.8/4; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4 with an encore; "The Mentalist" rebroadcast, 0.3/1; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/2 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (6.341 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) was the top draw on Friday with a new "Dateline NBC" (7.065 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) and the premiere of "Crossbones" (4.894 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3).

ABC (4.680 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) then shared the demo crown with its mix of "Shark Tank" (4.323 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #5), "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (4.165 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3) and "20/20" (5.553 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1).

Next up was CBS (4.796 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) and its repeat lineup of "Undercover Boss" (3.480 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), "Hawaii Five-0" (4.843 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7) and "Blue Bloods" (6.067 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #6).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.483 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) offered up encores of "MasterChef" (1.792 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7) and "I Wanna Marry 'Harry'" (1.175 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11).

And finally, repeats of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.286 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11), another "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.433 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #10) and "Hart of Dixie" (0.492 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) on The CW (0.925 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Whose Line" posted a 0.3 rating at 8:00/7:00c and 0.4 rating at 8:30/7:30c while "Dixie" managed a 0.1 rating.
