"THE TONIGHT SHOW" DOMINATES NOVEMBER SWEEP AND HANDILY WINS WEEK OF NOV. 23-27 WITH NINE-MONTH HIGHS

Fallon Has Now Generated "Tonight's" Two Top-Rated November Sweeps Since 2008

"Late Night" Delivers Best Week in 20 Months and Defeats "Late Show" in 18-49 Demo Despite Starting an Hour Later

NEW YORK - Dec. 4, 2015 - "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has dominated the November sweep, increasing its margin over CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" with each succeeding week of the month and concluding November with the show's top-scoring week since February.

Fallon has now delivered the two highest-rated November sweeps for "The Tonight Show" in the last seven years with this year's 0.98 rating in adults 18-49 and last year's 1.01 - best for the show in November since a 1.29 in 2008. In total viewers, 2014 and 2015 have seen "Tonight's" top two November sweeps since 2010.

"Tonight" concluded November with a 1.28 rating in 18-49 and 4.208 million viewers overall for the week of Nov. 23-27, its best results in both measures since the week of Feb. 16-20 (1.30 in 18-49, 4.233 million viewers overall).

The highlight of the week was the Thanksgiving telecast, delayed by a high-rated NFL overrun, which generated "Tonight's" highest rating for any night of the week (1.72 in 18-49) since Monday, March 24, 2014 (1.75 with guest Arnold Schwarzenegger).

For the week, Fallon outscored "Late Show" by a +137% margin in adults 18-49, the biggest advantage yet for Fallon versus Colbert. For the week, Fallon scored a 1.28 rating in 18-49 versus Colbert's 0.54. Fallon also outrated the combined 1.19 of Colbert and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.65).

It's the sixth week in a row (excluding a week of Colbert encores) that Fallon has established a new biggest-yet margin versus "The Late Show."

In the prior 11 weeks since Colbert debuted, Fallon's margins in 18-49 have been +28% for the week of Sept. 7-11, +38% for Sept. 14-18, +35% for Sept. 21-25, +41% for Sept. 28-Oct. 2, +38% for Oct. 5-9, +56% for Oct. 12-16, +54% for the encore week of Oct. 19-23, +59% for Oct. 26-30, +60% for Nov. 2-6, +70% for Nov. 9-13 and +79% for Nov. 16-20.

"Last Night with Seth Meyers" also surged during the week of Nov. 23-27 week with its highest weeklong rating in 18 months (0.62, best since a 0.64 for May 19-23, 2014) and its most-watched week in 20 months (1.967 million viewers, best since 2.003 million for March 24-28, 2014).

For the week, Meyers outrated CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" for the first time (0.62 vs. 0.54 in 18-49), despite starting an hour later.

"Last Call with Carson Daly" also generated its most-watched week in 20 months (1.084 million viewers, best since 1.095 million for March 3-7, 2014).

For the November sweep, both Fallon and Meyers outdelivered their ABC and CBS time-period competition in every key measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
