Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Tops Charts with "Sunday Night Football"

Here are the highlights of the 19 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (12/27/15):

NBC (14.385 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.7, #1) held onto the top spot on Sunday with its mix of "Football Night in America #1" (5.675 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.5, #7), "Football Night in America #2" (7.334 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.3, #5), "Football Night in America #3" (12.743 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 4.0, #3) and "Sunday Night Football" (16.124 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 5.3, #1).

FOX (6.565 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2) then claimed the silver with its "NFL Overrun" (16.285 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.1, #2) and "The OT" (11.408 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.7, #4) followed by repeats of "The Simpsons" (4.982 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.9, #6), "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (2.631 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.1, #10), "Family Guy" (2.361 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.0, #11) and "The Last Man on Earth" (1.725 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.6, #14).

Next up was CBS (7.599 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) and a repeat "60 Minutes" (10.498 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T8), a new "Undercover Boss" (7.894 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T8) and an encore of the "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (6.003 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #12) finale.

And finally, repeats of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.401 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #13), "The Muppets" (1.912 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.4, #16), another "The Muppets" (1.287 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T17), yet another "The Muppets" (0.963 million viewers, #18; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T17), even more "The Muppets" (0.961 million viewers, #19; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T17) and "Shark Tank" (1.912 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.5, #15) on ABC (2.219 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) closed out the night.
