"The Tonight Show" Nearly Equals the Combined Ratings of Kimmel & Colbert for the Week of Jan. 11-15

"THE TONIGHT SHOW" NEARLY EQUALS THE COMBINED RATINGS OF KIMMEL & COLBERT FOR THE WEEK OF JAN. 11-15; GROWS VS. THE SAME WEEK LAST YEAR

Seth Meyers Ties Colbert and Finishes Within 0.01 of Kimmel Despite Airing an Hour Later Versus the Year-Ago Week, Meyers Is Up +22% in 18-49 and Carson Daly Grows By +30%

NEW YORK - Jan. 22, 2016 - "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has dominated the late-night ratings week of Jan. 11-15, nearly equaling the combined ratings of CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in adults 18-49.

For the week, Fallon's 0.98 rating finished within 0.03 of a point of the combined 1.01 for Kimmel (0.51) and Colbert (0.50). Note Tuesday results for Colbert and Kimmel are excluded due to a delay for State of the Union coverage, and Kimmel aired an encore on Friday.

Versus the same week last year, Fallon grew in adults 18-49 (0.98 vs. 0.96) and total viewers (3.600 million vs. 3.571 million).

At 12:35 a.m. ET for the week, NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (0.50 in 18-49) tied Colbert and pulled within 0.01 of a point of Kimmel, though "Late Night" starts an hour later than both Colbert and Kimmel.

Versus the same week last year, Meyers was up +22% in 18-49 (0.50 vs. 0.41) and +17% in total viewers (1.668 million vs. 1.428 million).

At 1:35 a.m. ET, NBC's rebroadcasts of "Last Call with Carson Daly" generated gains versus the year-ago week of +30% in 18-49 (0.30 vs. 0.23) and +19% in total viewers (931,000 vs. 783,000). The 18-49 and total-viewer averages are Daly's highest in six weeks (since a 0.32 in 18-49 and 956,000 viewers overall for the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 4).
