DESCRIPTION:
(from HGTV's press release, October 2012) The word "extreme" means different things to different people, and to the homeowners featured in Extreme Homes, it means pushing the envelope as far as possible. Throughout this year, more than 11 million viewers tuned in to the series to get an up-close look at some of the world's most spectacular houses ever built - including a modern a castle, a seaside house made of refrigerator panels and floating ferry boat, and sun-revolving spherical abode. Recently bowing its second season on Oct. 4, viewers can see more extraordinary homes, including a pyramid in rural Ohio, a glass box in Switzerland and rolling-dice and mailbox shaped edifices every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET/PT. More unique options will also be captured in the third season, premiering in first quarter.
