DESCRIPTION:
(from Netflix's press release, April 2026) In 2012 Madrid, in the midst of an economic crisis, Marcos (Álvaro Morte), an unscrupulous veteran con artist, runs into Juan (Patrick Criado), a broke young man who can barely support his family. What starts as a 24-hour partnership to pull off small scams ends up becoming the heist of their lives: selling legendary counterfeit stamps, the Nine Queens, as genuine to a ruthless tycoon (Jose Coronado). Spanish adaptation of the iconic Argentinian film of the same name, the series portrays these two con artists as a reflection of a country where the line between victims and scammers is becoming increasingly blurred. |
