[05/27/14 - 11:17 AM] A+E Networks' FYI Channel Unveils Primetime Lineup for July Premiere "Reflecting FYI's mission of inspiring personal creativity across all aspects of viewers' lives, the network will premiere with an authentic slate of series that embrace FYI's adventurous, personalized and non-prescriptive approach to programming," says Jana Bennett.
DESCRIPTION: (from FYI's press release, March 2015) FYI's original docuseries "Tiny House Nation," which celebrates the exploding trend of extreme downsizing around the country, returns will all new episodes on Monday, April 13 at 9PM ET. "Tiny House Nation" follows host John Weisbarth and renovation expert Zack Giffin as they travel across America showing off ingenious small spaces and the inventive people who live in them. Along the way, they help families design and construct their own mini dream homes, each no larger than 500 square feet. The tiny feats featured in these new episodes include a family in Mississippi who rebuilds their home that was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina; a mom and her toddler boys who erect an off-the-grid trailer in California; a steam-punk themed tiny home built for cross-country travel in Utah; and a luxury vacation ski chalet in upstate New York. Each episode is packed with proof that it's not size that matters in these spaces, but creativity.
