SUPERGIRL and Rachel Platten's hit song, "Fight Song," seem to be made for each other in this new music video.
"I wrote 'Fight Song' during a really dark point in my life and career," said Rachel Platten. "After so much rejection, I began to doubt myself and feared that it was too late to make it in the industry. 'Fight Song' literally became my own anthem of empowerment when I needed it most. When I first watched 'Supergirl,' I fell in love with Kara. She perfectly embodies the message of 'Fight Song.' She's such a strong, courageous woman and I'm seriously so honored to have my song soundtrack her journey. You rock, Supergirl!"
Since its debut in early 2015, "Fight Song" has been certified Double Platinum with over 2 million singles sold to date in the U.S., more than 70 million streams and more than 60 million video views around the globe. The single reached #1 at AC radio; "Fight Song" has also reached #1 at Adult Pop radio, where it remained for four consecutive weeks, and landed in the Top 10 at Pop radio. In all, the single has been listened to by 1.4 billion in cumulative radio audience.
