The N Sizzles With Hot Summer Programming as Teen Drama Dawson's Creek Joins The Network With a 12-Hour, Season One Marathon On Monday, August 14

The N Rolls Out the Entire Six-Season Library (128 Episodes) of the Acclaimed Series *(Tapes and Color Art Available Upon Request)

NEW YORK, July 11 -- The N, nighttime network for teens continues to sizzle this summer with the premiere of its newly acquired one-hour drama Dawson's Creek. The first 12 episodes of season one will premiere back-to-back on Monday, August 14 during a 12-hour marathon from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. (ET). The remainder of the six-season library (128 episodes) will continue to roll out weeknights starting Tuesday, August 15 at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. (ET).

Dawson's Creek, along with the one-hour drama Summerland which recently joined the network, will complement The N's summer line-up of original teen programming including: Beyond the Break, which airs Friday nights at 8:30 p.m. (ET) and the one-hour mystery, Whistler, which airs Friday nights at 9 p.m. (ET).

Dawson's Creek, the enormously successful dramatic series, maintained its loyal following through six successful seasons on the air. Chronicling the passage from adolescence to young adulthood, Dawson's Creek, which was created and developed by Kevin Williamson ("Scream," "I Know What You Did Last Summer," "Teaching Mrs. Tingle"), followed the continuing relationships of five longtime friends.

Viewers were introduced to Dawson (James Van Der Beek) and Joey (Katie Holmes), life-long friends and soul mates. This wholesome friendship, beginning with years of Joey climbing through Dawson's bedroom window, grew increasingly complicated when the two matured. As their relationship would swing between longtime companions and love interests, their friendship was tested by Joey's relationship with Pacey (Joshua Jackson), and Dawson's relationship with Jen (Michelle Williams.)

The N, the nighttime network for teens, is a programming arm of MTV Networks and is currently available in 49 million households via cable, digital cable and satellite television. The N's mission is to be the authentic voice for teens and help them figure out their lives with relevant, topical programming on-air and online at the network's web site http://www.the-n.com. The N airs everyday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (ET). The N and all related titles, characters and logos are trademarks of Viacom International Inc.
