BURBANK, Calif. � April 19, 2007 � NBC is energizing this year's May sweep with the eagerly anticipated conclusion of the first volume of "Heroes," the 100th episode of "Deal or No Deal," a "Saturday Night Live in the '90s" special, two nights of super-sized comedies, an "ER" wedding and riveting season finales. Viewers can also "Laugh 'n' Sniff" their way through the super-sized "My Name is Earl" and spend a full hour at "The Office" season finale.

TWO HOMELESS MEN ARE BEATEN TO DEATH, AND THEIR MURDERS MAY BE RELATED -- After two homeless men die within a day of each other, Detectives Ed Green (Jesse L. Martin) and Nina Cassady (Milena Govich) investigate a possible connection. The Detectives quickly learn that a nearby car dealership security camera caught a beating on tape -- one of them was one of the victims. As the investigation deepens, they learn one of the victims was in the Army in Iraq and one of the suspects was a soldier in Iraq -- an odd coincidence that may connect the deaths. Sam Waterston, S. Epatha Merkerson, Fred Dalton Thompson and Alana De La Garza also star.

'SHREK' RULES AGAIN! -- In a strange and colorful land populated by fairy tale characters, an ogre named Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers) must go on a quest to rescue the fair princess Fiona (voiced by Cameron Diaz) from a dark tower guard by a dragon so that she can live happily ever after with the allegedly valiant Lord Farquaad (voiced by John Lithgow). Along for the adventure is Shrek's "noble steed" Donkey (voiced by Eddie Murphy), who battles alongside the ogre as he fights for the noblest of motives, to rid his beloved swamp from unwanted storybook creatures in the hopes of living a happy and completely lonely existence.

When Detectives Eames (Kathryn Erbe) and Goren uncover the identities of the women and victims in Brady's scrapbooks, they come across a familiar picture -- Goren's mother, Frances (Oscar and Emmy Award-winning guest star Rita Moreno). Through the help of his brother, Frank (guest star Tony Goldwyn), Goren learns a troubling secret about his mother and deals with her numbered days. Eric Bogosian also stars.

Detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Chris Meloni) quickly figure out that there is more than meets the eye when the victim's alleged girlfriend arrives at the court to reveal a new twist to this case. On their way back to Boston, the plane suddenly flies into an unexpected storm causing the plane to crash in the mountains. Woody (Jerry O'Connell) and Bug (Ravi Kapoor) set out on foot to try to get to the highest point and get a radio reception to signal for help, but hit a roadblock when they reach an impassable mountain. In order to stay warm and keep busy, Jordan (Jill Hennessy), Macy (Miguel Ferrer), Kate and Nigel (Steve Valentine) decided to do what they do best, autopsies. While they are trying to figure out what mysteriously killed these people, they all secretly wonder if they will be rescued. Kathryn Hahn also stars.

Meanwhile, Detective Logan goes on a date with a pretty woman he met from his building, but gets too close to a case when she stands him up for the second date and is found dead nearby. Detective Wheeler is called abroad to oversee a past case she worked on while with the joint task force and Detective Eames (Kathryn Erbe) steps in to help out. Eric Bogosian also stars.
