DESCRIPTION:
(from The WB's press release) Pepper Dennis (Rebecca Romijn, X-Men, Just Shoot Me) is a beautiful and ambitious reporter with her sights set on anchoring Chicagos top-rated evening news broadcast. Just when Pepper thinks shes about to land her dream anchor job, her hot new guy, Charlie Babcock (Josh Hopkins, The Perfect Storm, Ally McBeal), shows up in the newsroom and steals the job out from under her. Complicating Peppers daily life is her needy and recently separated sister Kathy (Brooke Burns, North Shore, Baywatch), who has moved in with her. Only Peppers close friends and co-workers, makeup artist Kimmy (Lindsay Price, Beverly Hills, 90210) and cameraman Chick (Rider Strong, Boy Meets World), seem to feel her pain. Shawn Levy directed the episode written by Gretchen J. Berg & Aaron Harberts.
