Season Finale of "Ghost Whisperer" Wins its Time Period in Viewers and Key Demos

CBS placed first in viewers and adults 25-54 (tie), according to Nielsen Live Plus same-day ratings for the week ending May 13, week 34 of the 2006-2007 television season.

For the week in viewers, CBS (11.30m) led FOX (10.25m), ABC (9.61m) and NBC (6.88m). Season-to-date in viewers, CBS (12.51m) is first followed by FOX (10.30m), ABC (9.84m) and NBC (8.94m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was tied for first in adults 25-54 (4.2/11, with FOX) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (3.2/10, with ABC). .Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.7/12) and second in adults 18-49 (3.7/10).

In week 34, CBS placed first or second every night in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 (including ties).

For the week in households, CBS (7.3/13) finished +14% ahead of ABC (6.4/11), +16% ahead of FOX (6.3/11) and +62% ahead of NBC (4.5/08). Season-to-date, CBS is first in households (7.9/13), outpacing ABC by +23% (6.4/10), FOX by +25% (6.3/10) and NBC by +36% (5.8/09).

? CSI: MIAMI was first in households (11.5/19), viewers (17.18m), adults 25-54 (6.7/17) and adults 18-49 (5.4/14). CSI: MIAMI was Monday's top program in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

? CRIMINAL MINDS was second in households (8.3/13), viewers (12.92m), adults 25-54 (4.7/11) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09), all behind the one-hour "American Idol". CRIMINAL MINDS is Wednesday's #1 script program in viewers.

? CSI: NY was first in households (8.4/14), viewers (12.83m) and second behind "Lost" in both adults 25-54 (4.6/12) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10). CSI: NY posted its largest margin of victory over "Lost" in viewers since March 21, 2007 and was in its most competitive position with "Lost" in both adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since March 21, 2007.

? SURVIVOR: FIJI was first in households (8.5/15), viewers (13.77m), adults 25-54 (5.5/16) and adults 18-49 (4.4/14).

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was second in households (12.1/19), viewers (18.75m), adults 25-54 (6.9/17) and adults 18-49 (5.5/15).

? WITHOUT A TRACE won its Thursday time period in households (9.8/17), viewers (14.31m), adults 25-54 (4.9/13) and adults 18-49 (3.9/11).

GHOST WHISPERER had almost +2.8 million viewer advantage over its closest competitor (+2.79m ahead of NBC's 6.36m), +1.6 rtg pt advantage in adults 25-54 (vs. NBC's 1.9/07) and +1.2 rtg pt advantage in adults 18-49 (vs. NBC's 1.5/06).
