ABC FAMILY ANNOUNCES THE SEASON TWO PREMIERE DATE FOR "LINCOLN HEIGHTS"

CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED DRAMA RETURNS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 8:00 - 9:00 P.M., ET

Beverly Hills, CA (July 26, 2007) ABC Family announced the season two return of the critically acclaimed family drama series "Lincoln Heights," with ten new episodes premiering on a new day and time, Tuesday, September 4, 8:00-9:00 p.m., ET, it was announced today by ABC Family President, Paul Lee, at the Television Critics Association's annual Summer Press Tour. This heartfelt family drama has won over audiences and critics alike, following the lives of the Sutton family living in "Lincoln Heights."

"We really think we have something unique here," said Mr. Lee, in making the announcement. "The fact that it's an African American family drama alone separates it from the crowd, but its terrific cast and superb writing also make it truly special and perfect for ABC Family."

This season, the Suttons will be faced with many new and exciting challenges. Eddie (Russell Hornsby) is injured in the line of duty and is homebound for awhile, which he embraces by trying to cook for the family and enlisting new rules for the kids, much to their chagrin. Jenn (Nicki Micheaux) finds herself leaving the hospital to work in the local clinic, all while balancing her busy home life. Cassie (Erica Hubbard) and Charles' (Robert Adamson) romance heats up after being on hold for the summer while she was away at art camp. Cassie starts working at Revolution Coffee Spot, and meets Luc, the manager and artist who sparks her passion for art and brings out Charles' jealous side. Tay (Mishon Ratliff) and Lizzie (Rhyon Brown) are finding their way as pre-teens dealing with peer pressure and possible budding romances. And, Eddie's partner Lund (Michael Reilly Burke) is surprised when his wild teenage daughter, Sage, comes to live with him and turns his bachelor world upside down.

"Lincoln Heights" stars Russell Hornsby as Eddie Sutton, Nicki Micheaux as Jenn Sutton, Erica Hubbard as Cassie Sutton, Mishon Ratliff as Tay Sutton, Rhyon Brown as Lizzie Sutton, Robert Adamson as Charles and Michael Reilly Burke as Kevin Lund.

Kathleen McGhee-Anderson is Executive Producer. Larry Moskowitz is the Co-Executive Producer with Dawn Urbont serving as Supervising Producer and Kevin Inch and Dayna Lynne North as Producers. "Lincoln Heights" is produced by ABC Family/Disney.
