KNIGHT RIDER (NBC) - "Las Vegas" alums Gary Scott Thompson and Matt Pyken have been tapped as executive producers on the series, which is expected to receive a formal pick-up today by the network. Thompson ("The Fast and the Furious"), who has inked a new two-year overall deal with producer Universal Media Studios, will serve as the drama's showrunner. Pyken then will join fellow executive producers Dave Bartis and Doug Liman. Dave Andron, who penned the two-hour backdoor pilot, will remain as a consulting producer on the series.
