BRITISH FASHION GURUS TRINNY AND SUSANNAH JOIN FORCES WITH TLC

One-Hour Special "Making Over America with Trinny and Susannah" Premieres January 24, 2009

On Saturday, January 24 immediately following the 2009 MISS AMERICA PAGEANT at 10pm ET/PT, renowned British style experts and the original UK hosts of WHAT NOT TO WEAR Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine bring their stellar expertise and charming wit to TLC to help a New Jersey waitress get the makeover she deserves.

In MAKING OVER AMERICA WITH TRINNY AND SUSANNAH, Trinny and Susannah experience true American culture as they travel across the country and visit some of America's hardest working women. Trinny and Susannah offer the cost-effective and sustainable teaching tools that help make a real difference in each of these women's lives. During the hour special, they visit a New Jersey diner and help transform a waitress named Denise, a fashionably-challenged hard working mother of two who has been trying to plan a wedding but hasn't been able to make it come together. Trinny and Susannah also try on the role of diner waitress for a day, and even dress in uniform and wait on tables while simultaneously performing mini-makeovers on the customers.

With an impressive background in style and entertainment, Trinny and Susannah started their careers together as fashion columnists for Saturday's Daily Telegraph. They are currently the hosts of ITV's Trinny and Susannah Undress the Nation. Prior to that, they developed their first ITV1 series Trinny and Susannah Undress in 2006, and began their careers in television with the hugely popular BBC series WHAT NOT TO WEAR, which debuted in 2001.

MAKING OVER AMERICA WITH TRINNY AND SUSANNAH is an ABC Media production.
