HGTV Orders Additional Episodes of David Bromstad's Color Splash
The series, which airs Saturdays at 9:00/8:00c, has been extended for 26 episodes.

HGTV ORDERS ADDITIONAL EPISODES OF DAVID BROMSTAD'S COLOR SPLASH

Knoxville, Tenn. (February 3, 2009)--Color Splash, the popular weekly HGTV series featuring David Bromstad, has been extended for 26 episodes. Produced by Edelman Productions, Color Splash showcases the talents of Bromstad who was selected as the winner of the first HGTV Design Star competition in 2006. All new episodes of the half-hour series will air Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Designer and host of Color Splash since March 2007, the charismatic Bromstad shows viewers how they can use color to embolden, enliven and invigorate their spaces. As an artist who attended Florida's Ringling School of Art and Design, Bromstad knows a thing or two about creativity and color palettes. Throughout each episode, viewers will see his extraordinary artistic visions leap from sketch pad to real-world design. In each episode of the series, he converses with homeowners and examines everything from their existing furniture and accessories to their clothing to get a sense of the colors that inspire them. With boundless enthusiasm, he applies his out-of-the-box thinking to deliver design options that are not only functional, but also inspired in their unpredictable use of color. In the end, homeowners get ideas that feature a new twist on their design style and, if they are lucky, a piece of custom artwork created by Bromstad.

Following up on the success of Bromstad and subsequent winners of HGTV Design Star, HGTV is currently in production for season four of the top-rated design competition which will premiere Sunday, July 19 at 10 p.m. ET.
