WITH HIS LIFE AT A CROSSROADS, A TEEN MUST CHOOSE A DIRECTION AND RUN

GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINEE TREAT WILLIAMS, JOANNA GOING AND ANDREW LAWRENCE STAR IN 'CHASING A DREAM' A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE PREMIERING APRIL 25

When a high school athlete's dream is disastrously cut short, his oldest friend goes the distance to achieve that goal in the Hallmark Channel Original Movie "Chasing a Dream," premiering Saturday, April 25 (9/8c). Golden Globe nominee Treat Williams ("Everwood"), Andrew Lawrence ("Runaway," "Oliver Beene"), Joanna Going ("Close to Home") and Jake McLaughlin ("In the Valley of Elah") co-star in the emotional story of friendship, family, and finding hope in a special promise.

As Cam Stiles (Lawrence) and lifelong buddy John Van Horn (McLaughlin) compare athletic plans, victory seems within reach: Cam's on track for a college scholarship certain to bring him glory and make his demanding football coach father (Williams) proud. And John, the determined runner, is sure he'll blaze to a rare sub-four-minute mile.

But when tragedy strikes, Cam faces an unbearable loss that shatters his world. Even as his mother (Going) and friends offer comfort and his father instructs him to step it up in football, Cam angrily ignores them all. Fueled by grief and grit, he sets up a challenge to achieve John's dream and throws himself into training for the race of his life. Somehow, Cam has to overcome every obstacle in his path, from emotional to physical, as he summons the speed and stamina not only to win, but to succeed.

Hallmark Channel presents "Chasing a Dream," an LG Films production in association with Larry Levinson Productions. Larry Levinson is the executive producer and Randy Pope, Kevin Bocarde and Michael Moran are the co-executive producers. Brian Gordon is the producer. David Burton Morris directed from a script by Bryce Zabel and Jackie Zabel.
