Television-based latter, from co-creators Andrew Reich and Ted Cohen, revolves around "two out-of-work car salesmen who realize that it is now a woman's world and decide that in order to find work again and succeed they are going to have to dress as women to get jobs as pharmaceuticals reps." REVENGE (ABC) - Ashley Madekwe ("The Beautiful Life") is the first to board the drama pilot, about Emily Thorne, a mysterious young woman who comes to the Hamptons to exact revenge on the people who destroyed her family. She'll play Ashley Davenport, Emily's "stylish and confident" friend who works for the people who wronged her. Mike Kelley penned the hour for ABC Studios. Phillip Noyce is directing.

SMASH (NBC) - Katharine McPhee ("American Idol") and Jack Davenport ("FlashForward") are the latest additions to the drama pilot, about a cross section of characters who come together to put on a Marilyn Monroe musical on Broadway. She'll play Karen, a beautiful actress "full of youth and passion" who goes to all lengths to book the role of Marilyn Monroe in the musical. Davenport then is as Derek Walsh, a "fierce and intelligent" musical choreographer trying to find his next big project. Debra Messing and Megan Hilty also star in the Universal Media Studios-based hour, to be directed by Michael Mayer from a script by Theresa Rebeck.
