SPECIALS

"The Comedy Awards" - World Premiere

Sunday, 4/10 at 9:00 p.m.

COMEDY CENTRAL and MTV Networks have tapped New York City to host "The Comedy Awards," the first-ever multi-network, multi-platform, annual event dedicated to honoring and celebrating the world of comedy. A night for comedy of all kinds, "The Comedy Awards" will be taped at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday, March 26 and premieres on Sunday, April 10, simultaneously across MTV Networks' COMEDY CENTRAL, Spike TV, VH1, CMT, TV Land, Logo and Nick At Nite. The extraordinary night will pay homage to the genre and honor the year's best comedy actors, films, television series and digital content. The event celebrates the talented writers, directors and performers who have literally changed the laugh track of our lives: the pioneering legends who pushed boundaries; the TV shows that we rushed home to watch; the movies that are indelibly etched into our collective pop culture memory and the stand-up comedians that make us think while we laugh.

SERIES

"Workaholics" - Series Premiere

Wednesday, 4/6 at 10:30 p.m.

Just because you've left college doesn't mean you can't take the party with you. For three post-grad pals trying to make their way in the real world, the revelry continues all day and night, whether they are in their office cubicles grinding out a paycheck or back at their house partying it all away! From the minds of the hilarious and irreverent Internet sketch group Mail Order Comedy, "Workaholics" is a single camera comedy featuring three friends who work together as telemarketers from 9 to 5 and live together from 5 to 9. Dress codes, deadlines and waking up before noon are not things these guys are used to. They do their jobs and sometimes they even do them well, but they show up late, leave drunk and always live for the day... even if they dont know what day it is. Co-created by Mail Order Comedy's Blake Anderson, Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck and 5th Years Dominic Russo and Connor Pritchard, the series stars Anderson, Devine and Holm and is directed by Newacheck and Chris Koch ("Modern Family").

"Sports Show with Norm Macdonald" - Series Premiere

Tuesday, 4/12 at 10:30 p.m.

He made a name for himself as the anchor of "SNL's" Weekend Update, and now Norm Macdonald is taking the same approach, but with his sights set on the sports world. "Sports Show with Norm Macdonald" will feature Macdonald's unique and comedic take on the most topical and controversial stories from the sports world. Taped in front of a live studio audience, the fast-paced and informative show will cover all sports - from the popular to the obscure - delivered with Macdonald's unforgettable style, reminiscent of his hugely popular run as "SNL's" Weekend Update anchor. The series will be executive produced by Macdonald, Marc Gurvitz, Lori Jo Hoekstra and Jackhole Productions Daniel Kellison.
