PASADENA, January 6, 2016 - Comedy Central's latest series is ahead of its time, literally. The #1 brand in comedy has greenlit "Time Traveling Bong," it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Original Programming, Comedy Central. From the minds of "Broad City's" Ilana Glazer, Paul W. Downs and Lucia Aniello, the three-episode limited series takes viewers on a wild ride through an otherworldly experience and is set to premiere on April 20, 2016, following the season three finale of "Broad City."

"No comment," added Glazer, Downs and Aniello.

"Time Traveling Bong" centers on two cousins, played by Glazer and Downs, who discover a time traveling bong and ride high as they blaze through time. Their buzz is killed when the bong breaks and the cousins are forced to bounce around the space time continuum, learning to appreciate there's no time like the present. "Time Traveling Bong" will roll out across three consecutive nights, beginning on 4/20 at 10:30 p.m. This limited series is executive produced and written by "Broad City's" Ilana Glazer, Paul W. Downs and Lucia Aniello, who is also set to direct, and executive produced by Dave Becky of 3 Arts Entertainment and Sam Reich. Sarah Babineau and Samantha Schles are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.
