January 8, 2015 (Burbank, Calif.) - The CW Network has announced a list of celebrity presenters for THE WORLD DOG AWARDS (www.worlddogawards.com). Hosted by George Lopez and filmed at the aptly named Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on Saturday, January 9, THE WORLD DOG AWARDS will combine the glamour of a Hollywood awards show with the appreciation for man's best friend.

THE WORLD DOG AWARDS airsThursday, January 14 (8:00-10:00 pm ET) on The CW Network.

The following celebrities are confirmed to present at THE WORLD DOG AWARDS: Paula Abdul, Giuliana Rancic (E! News), Roselyn Sanchez ("Devious Maids"), Ta'Rhonda Jones ("Empire"), Shanice Williams ("The Wiz Live"), Loni Love ("The Real") Rico Rodriguez ("Modern Family"), supermodel and actress Joanna Krupa ("The Real Housewives of Miami"), Caity Lotz ("Arrow," "DC's Legends of Tomorrow"), Justin Baldoni ("Jane The Virgin"), Melissa Rivers ("Fashion Police"), Maggie Lawson ("Psych," "Angel from Hell"), Todrick Hall (MTV), Aubrey Anderson Emmons ("Modern Family"), Keltie Knight (The Insider), iJustine (YouTube) JB Smoove ("Curb Your Enthusiasm"), Amy Brenneman ("The Leftovers"), Mark Feuerstein ("Royal Pains") and Kristine Leahy ("American Ninja Warrior").

Also announced today: Kirstin Maldonado from the Grammy Award winning group Pentatonix, will perform the song "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" live onstage in honor of Toto. The iconic pup from "The Wizard of Oz" and also "The Wiz" is receiving The Dog's Life Achievement award, which celebrates an iconic dog character in pop culture that has had a huge cultural impact.

And in what is destined to be a shareable and heart-tugging moment, this year THE WORLD DOG AWARDS will feature a live reunion between a returning U.S. soldier and his loyal dog. In the spirit of viral videos that feature dogs being reunited with the soldiers who love them, THE WORLD DOG AWARDS will present the Award of Loyalty live onstage to a dog just as he's being reunited with his human companion - who's been serving his country for several months overseas. The segment has been arranged in partnership with Dogs On Deployment (www.dogsondeployment.org), a national non-profit that connects service members with volunteers who board their pets during service commitments.

THE WORLD DOG AWARDS will again spotlight dogs with the most influential social media presence, via the "Pawpular" category. This year's nominees are a who's who of famous Instagram dogs: Doug The Pug (@itsdougthepug), Tuna (@tunameltsmyheart), Toast (@toastmeetsworld), Manny The Frenchie (@manny_the_frenchie), Harlow and Indiana and Reese (@harlowandsage), Marni The Dog (@marnithedog), Momo (@andrewknapp) and Jiff The Pom (@jiffpom).

THE WORLD DOG AWARDS will honor some of the most laudable pups on the planet, from the ones who have achieved fame in the world of entertainment or on social media to everyday dogs who have had an indelible impact on the lives of their human companions. The show is produced by Juma Entertainment with executive producer Robert Horowitz, Josh Greenberg and George Lopez, and presented by IAMS(TM) Brand and Subaru.
