LEFTFIELD PICTURES TEAMS WITH LA LA ANTHONY AND TIMBALAND ON HIP HOP DOCUSERIES

La La Anthony to Executive Produce; Timbaland to Serve as Executive Music Producer

NEW YORK - (January 27, 2016) - Leftfield Pictures is partnering with actress, New York Times bestselling author and producer La La Anthony, and Grammy-winning producer Timbaland (fresh off his success as executive music producer on FOX's "Empire") to develop an all-new docuseries spotlighting the in-demand Face Time Agency - the industry's premiere casting agency for booking music video and hip hop fashion models - whose clients include Drake, Kanye West and Robin Thicke.

Anthony will executive produce the project, while Timbaland serves as executive music producer. Executive producers for Leftfield Pictures are David George and Will Nothacker. Derek Gordon also executive produces.

Set inside the New York City nightlife scene - where clubs have become the new boardrooms - the series exposes the cutthroat entrepreneurial side of hip hop, with models, DJs and social media stars "hustling" to break through as fashion, music and media moguls.

Face Time Agency's models, including Amina Blue, Bernice Burgos and Kyra Chaos, leverage their high-profile profile bookings and industry connections secured through the agency to launch their own companies - from fashion and beauty to tech and much more - harnessing millions of Instagram followers to establish and propel their empires. Face Time Agency CEO Session Cruz and Co-Founder Jeff Janvier represent these ambitious "magnates-in-training" who will stop at nothing to climb to the top.

Said Leftfield Entertainment CEO David George, "La La and Timbaland are perfect examples of what can be achieved when talent, determination and creativity collide with entrepreneurship. We're thrilled to be in business with these two entertainment innovators to create a series that uncovers a unique, rarified faction of hip hop and provides a true soundtrack for the unpredictable journey toward fame and fortune."

Said Anthony, "I'm thrilled to be executive producing a project that offers a true insider's look into the business side of hip hop, especially one that explores the lives of fascinating women who have used hip hop as their platform to become successful entrepreneurs in fashion, music and more."

Added Timbaland, "I'm excited to continue to build my brand within the TV space. Projects like this, with music and culture at the center, are the sweet spot of my content play... lets go!"

This marks the first joint media venture between Timbaland and music agency Jingle Punks, which recently announced a partnership with Timbaland. Jared Gutstadt leads Jingle Punks, an Ole company.

Anthony and Face Time Agency are represented by UTA.
