Jaunt Announces Production of Six-Part Series with Condé Nast Entertainment and Legendary Director, Doug Liman

Premiering Later This Year, the Episodic VR Series INVISIBLE Is The First Virtual Reality Action-Adventure Series of its Kind

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Jaunt Inc., Condé Nast Entertainment (CNé), the 30 Ninjas team of Director Doug Liman (Live, Die, Repeat, Bourne Identity) and Producer Julina Tatlock, along with Oscar nominated Screenwriter Melisa Wallack (Dallas Buyers Club), today announced a new production deal to produce INVISIBLE, the first episodic action-adventure series created in immersive virtual reality. This is the latest project in Jaunt and Condé Nast Entertainment's collaboration in serialized storytelling, and the first from Doug Liman. The six INVISIBLE episodes are directed by Doug Liman, Michael Litwak and Jerome Sable.

Set in modern day Manhattan, the series will unravel the secrets of a prominent New York City family, the Ashlands, blessed with a supernatural gift passed down through generations. As capacity of their extraordinary ability continues to grow in power, the birth of an exceptional new child draws public interest and their family secret teeters on the brink of becoming exposed.

"Exceptional content is at the core of our business, and we're always looking for innovative ways to engage audiences," said Dawn Ostroff, President of Condé Nast Entertainment. "Virtual reality offers us a tremendous opportunity to push the boundaries of our storytelling, and provide audiences a fully-immersive viewing experience. We're thrilled to work with Jaunt and Doug Liman on Invisible, I can't think of better partners to have as we embark on this exciting and cutting-edge journey."

"We've assembled a great team with Melisa Wallack as writer and creator, and the best VR producing partners in the business -- Jaunt VR, CNé and Samsung. This is a true confluence of creative and technical," said Julina Tatlock, Founder and CEO of 30 Ninjas. "Throughout this entire project, from development to the shoot, the technical and the creative teams have worked hand-in-glove. What can we write for VR? What tells the best story and how can we push the technology so that we break people's expectations. Everyone else is concerned with defining the rules of VR. We're fascinated with the invention."

"Doug Liman is a visionary Hollywood filmmaker and his decision to undertake this project in VR is a testament not only to the validity of the medium, but also to his fearless pioneering spirit," said Cliff Plumer, President of Jaunt studios. "Episodic series such as INVISIBLE are the future of mainstream VR content and will make waves attracting ever growing audiences. This partnership also ensures that Jaunt will continue to remain at the forefront of premium VR content production and distribution."

Each chapter of the multi-episode series will be available via the Jaunt VR App on Google Play, iTunes and GearVR.
