Netflix Announces New Korean Original Film "Forgotten"

NETFLIX ANNOUNCES NEW KOREAN ORIGINAL FILM "FORGOTTEN"

Written and directed by Director Hang-Jun Chang, this mystery thriller will be available on Netflix in early 2018

November 9, Seoul, Korea - Netflix Inc., the world's leading internet entertainment service, announced today its next Korean original film Forgotten with partner Kiwi Company.

Forgotten is a mystery thriller written and directed by Director Hang-Jun Chang who is considered one of the best storytellers in Korea. While the story takes endless twists and turns, the movie is expected to create never ending suspense. The lead producer Won-Seok Jang, took part in hit titles including The Outlaws, Tunnel, War of the Arrows, A Hard Day, The Chronicles of Evil, and Confession of Murder.

As Director Chang's comeback movie in 9 years, Forgotten will also feature top Korean stars Ha-Neul Kang and Moo-Yeol Kim as Jinseok and Yuseok. When his older brother Yuseok gets kidnapped on their first day at a new house, Jinseok suffers from hallucination until Yuseok returns home on the 19th day with a memory loss and strange behavior. Finding himself in a hidden murder case in Yuseok's twisted memory, Jinseok sets out only to face a heartbreaking truth.

Forgotten will be available on Netflix globally in over 190 countries in early 2018. Netflix currently has 109 million members around the world.
