"WHEN CALLS THE HEART" SEASON SIX PREMIERE SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24 ON HALLMARK CHANNEL

Beloved Series Makes its Highly Anticipated Return on Sunday Nights at 8/7C

Buoyed by the ratings record-breaking holiday episode "When Calls the Heart: The Greatest Christmas Blessing," Hallmark Channel's sweeping frontier drama "When Calls the Heart" returns for Season Six Sunday, February 24 (8pm ET/PT, 7C) with new episodes every Sunday night through April. "When Calls the Heart" is the most watched and longest running Hallmark Channel series to date.

Based on the book of the same name by Janette Oke, the series stars Erin Krakow ("Army Wives") Lori Loughlin ("Fuller House,"90210"), Jack Wagner ("The Bold and the Beautiful," "Melrose Place"), Pascale Hutton ("Sanctuary"), Kavan Smith ("Supernatural"), Paul Greene ("Bitten") and Martin Cummins ("Riverdale"). Chris McNally ("Altered Carbon") and Kevin McGarry ("Heartland") join the cast for the new season.

In season six of "When Calls the Heart," the town of Hope Valley adjusts to the changing times - while still maintaining the small-town bonds that connect them. Single mother Elizabeth (Krakow) leans on her friends for support as she balances motherhood with work. Romantic possibilities arise as Faith (Andrea Brooks) and Carson (Greene) assess their feelings, Jesse (Aren Buchholz) and Clara (Eva Bourne) take steps in securing their bond, and Abigail (Loughlin) confronts a visitor from her past. Lee (Smith) and Rosemary (Hutton) deal with an emotional issue that challenges their relationship. As for the rest of the town, Bill (Wagner) considers an opportunity that cements his place as Hope Valley's ultimate authority and Henry Gowen (Cummins) reclaims his position among Hope Valley's society. The community gains two new members when new Mountie Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) and secretive gambler Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) arrive on the scene. Finally, Elizabeth will continue to teach the children of Hope Valley - and although there may be potential suitors interested in her, the only relationship she is focused on is the one with her baby.
