TASK LYST, THE (NBC, New!) - David Slack has sold a small screen take on Scott Hylbert's novel to the network: "Need someone to fix a cabinet? Walk your dog? Fire up TaskLyst, an app where you can hire random people to do pretty much anything. But if they're not careful about what they do and who they do it for... well, mundane gig work can turn perilous. This is the story of six ordinary people who discover that a simple job they did for a little extra cash is actually part of a much larger and deadlier plot, and the only way for them to survive is to find each other and work together to hunt down the anonymous taskmaster who is pulling their strings." Sony Pictures Television is behind the project with My Own Shingle's Carey Nelson Burch and Osprey Productions' Josh Berman and Jennifer Robinson likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)

He's had a long career as an editor working in various metro dailies in the lower 48. He came back to Anchorage with the express idea of running the daily metro newspaper in Anchorage. He sees the end of the line now and wants to leave the paper better than when he found it, which is an impossible task. Having worked with Eileen (Swank) twenty years ago, he seeks her out to join him in Alaska with a job offer at the paper." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED WANDAVISION SPIN-OFF PROJECT (Disney+, New!) - Kathryn Hahn is attached to reprise her "WandaVision" role of Agatha Harkness in a spin-off series for the streaming service.
