CBS Sports has announced its 2023 NFL ON CBS schedule, highlighted by its exclusive coverage of SUPER BOWL LVIII from Las Vegas on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024. SUPER BOWL LVIII marks the 22nd time CBS has broadcast the Super Bowl, the most of any network.

The 2023 NFL ON CBS regular-season schedule, with more than 100 games across 18 weeks, is headlined by marquee matchups in the Sunday 4:25 PM, ET national game window, the most-watched window in all of television. Among the featured games are the AFC Championship Game rematch between Cincinnati and Kansas City in Week 17, the New York Jets visiting Dallas in Week 2, Buffalo at Kansas City in Week 14 and Philadelphia hosting Buffalo in Week 12.

The Super Bowl champion Chiefs are scheduled to appear a minimum of eight times on CBS, more than double any other network. Kansas City has six NFL ON CBS games in the coveted 4:25 PM, ET window along with the nationally televised Christmas Day game. Among the other teams with multiple appearances in national NFL ON CBS game windows are the Cowboys, Bills, Bengals, Eagles and Jets. Additionally, the 2023 schedule includes an expanded NFC slate with multiple games featuring the Eagles, Cowboys, Packers, Giants, Bears and 49ers.

The NFL ON CBS continues as the primary TV home for the American Football Conference (AFC), which boasts an unprecedented roster of star quarterbacks, including Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes, Cincinnati's Joe Burrow, the New York Jets' Aaron Rodgers, Buffalo's Josh Allen, Baltimore's Lamar Jackson, Jacksonville's Trevor Lawrence and the Los Angeles Chargers' Justin Herbert, as well as top five 2023 NFL Draft picks C.J. Stroud of Houston and Anthony Richardson of Indianapolis.

Additionally, the NFL ON CBS will feature division rivalry games on Thanksgiving and Christmas as well as a full postseason slate, including the AFC Championship Game and SUPER BOWL LVIII.

The NFL ON CBS' 2023 regular-season schedule begins on Sunday, Sept. 10 with a national doubleheader, and will be broadcast to viewers all season across the country who can watch the NFL ON CBS games shown in their local market on the CBS Television Network and streamed live on Paramount+.

Last season, CBS Sports delivered its best viewership for the NFL ON CBS in seven years by averaging 18.487 million viewers, and Paramount+ delivered its most-streamed NFL season ever.

MARQUEE NATIONAL GAMES HIGHLIGHT TV'S MOST-WATCHED WINDOW AT 4:25 PM, ET

CBS Sports will have 10 national Sunday doubleheader windows at 4:25 PM, ET. Last year, the NFL ON CBS averaged 23.495 million viewers for its 10 national Sunday game windows, which was more than any primetime television sports, entertainment or news series on any network.

The 2023 schedule is bookended with national Sunday doubleheaders beginning in Weeks 1 and 2 and concluding in Weeks 17 and 18, with defending NFC champion Philadelphia visiting New England in CBS' 4:25 PM, ET window to kick off the season (Sunday, Sept. 10). As announced by the team earlier today, the Patriots will honor legendary quarterback Tom Brady that day.

This year's national game window slate is highlighted by Cincinnati visiting Kansas City in a rematch of the past two AFC Championship Games in Week 17 (Sunday, Dec. 31). Among the other highly anticipated matchups at 4:25 PM, ET are the New York Jets visiting Dallas in Week 2 (Sunday, Sept. 17), Buffalo facing Kansas City in Week 14 (Sunday, Dec. 10), Philadelphia hosting Buffalo in Week 12 (Sunday, Nov. 26), Cincinnati meeting San Francisco in Week 8 (Sunday, Oct. 29) and the Jets at Buffalo in Week 11 (Sunday, Nov. 19).

The Network will broadcast an NFC East clash between Washington and Dallas on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, Nov. 23) at 4:30 PM, ET. That game will lead into a doubleheader weekend for CBS with Buffalo at Philadelphia as the national game on Sunday, Nov. 26 at 4:25 PM, ET.

On Christmas Day (Monday, Dec. 25), CBS Sports and Nickelodeon will once again team up to deliver a present to fans of all ages with Las Vegas facing Kansas City in an AFC West rivalry game at 1:00 PM, ET. In addition to the NFL ON CBS broadcast on CBS, Nickelodeon will air its annual slime-filled presentation tailored for family viewing fun.
